Gotcha...I am just waiting for pics and a few measurements if you don't mind once installed before I order mine.

The dealers here won't let you return anything you special order.

They won't even let me return floor mats that they say are the right ones based on my VIN if they come in and are wrong, even though they swear they are correct. (I got the 2 hook vs 1 hook floormat issue)

That's terrible, I would do my best not to go through them if that is the case..

I had a terrible time with my rails when they came in.. It was missing a M6 bolt which prevented me from expanding the sheet metal pins. I drove around to 5 different locations and even made the purchase of a $140 torque wrench which was on sale for $67 to expend them properly. I had no success until I found a shop with M6 ready rod, but still it was a struggle.

I ended up talking the rails back to the dealership and had them order me in a new set of rails that were not missing parts.

Headache so far lol! :emotions122:

Its installed and being used!!! however ran into another issue after install. My Bakbox will not close by around 1/4 inch when the tool box in in around the first 4 feet of the bed. I'm gonna have to get something custom fabricated to lower the box.

How far is it from the bed bottom to the top of the toolbox ??

I need to know to see if it will fit under my tonneau cover.

With the few amount of tools I have to carry, and hitch's, straps ect, I went with the swing case. Very happy with it, Ill probably get the passenger side as well. Drivers side was 157 shipped, passengers is like 160 something?

Not that it matters since I'd get a cover but are these waterproof?

not sure of your talking to me, but the swing cases are. I'll test it next weekend in the car wash.

Now that is what i'm looking for right there!!!!

I put one of them in my 2500 the driver side, easy to install and very handy, comes right if you need to. I would suggest these.

Oh wow these look like they might work pretty good for storing some of the little things I have running around in my bed. I imagine there is drilling required?

Does it clear all the mechanisms for it ??

What about the rod that locks the middle down ?

Could you mount the rail lower or maybe the brackets on the toolbox that go in the rail lower to gain maybe 1/2" if need be ?

Looks so good! Wonder if your problem would exist with a different cover? I'll be looking at the trifold canvas cover and fiberglass hard cover. Guess we'll find out.

The quality of the box is pretty good 9/10, few minor light scratches but its a tool box.

The rail are set in place because they rest in a curve above the wheel wells for support.

As for clearance. I will have to get something custom fabbed to lower the box the 1/2 that it needs to be able to clear the rods that lock the tonneau cover down when the box is slid all the way back to the back. However if it is at the front by my tailgate where i have been using in the first couple pics it closes completely and locks.

I will have more updates on this in the up coming future.
:favorites13: cheers

How are the brackets that attach to the toolbox "attached?" No possible to drill new holes 1/2" or so higher to lower the toolbox?
