This past week was driving through some freezing rain and every time I would come to a stop my front bumper sensors were going off but no one was in front of me or anything close. When I stopped in a parking lot, I rubbed the ice off but after taking off again it started up again. Are these sensors that sensitive or is there an issue with the bumper sensors?

I don't know if this is "normal" or not, but I also experienced the same thing as you while driving in light snow/ freezing rain. My system said that the front sensors were being turned off because of build up on the sensors . Then about 2 minutes later they started the audible alarm as if I was hitting an object.
