    On a cold start, there is no tapping or tick, only when the engine is about 190-200 “sometimes” it’s not all the time it makes the sound. Also goes away when I rev it alittle bit

    They used a gasket, but they added a seal on top of it which another shop corrected and told me they should’ve of expected it to leak they should have only used the gasket.

    I have an oil leak someone on the passenger side, and I have a funny feeling it’s coming from the head cause they double checked the valve covers they’re fine. And then this tops it off with the yahoo oil. But my coolant is nicely pink not mixed with oil. This is just my oil that’s the issue

    Is this the forbidden chocolate? Oil mixed with coolant? Or is this the dye that they might of added to find the oil leak? There is no oil in the coolant reservoir so that’s the confusing part.

    No I’m mine you can remove the the girl and I think bumper and you can remove the camshaft easily, they showed me all the old parts too when I arrived. But now I got that forbidden chocolate oil I did a oil change see if would change anything lmao

    Dam, well all the work at the moment from the lifter and camshaft repair is under warranty, I wonder if it would still be under warranty if the rod is messed up if the metal from the old camshaft didn’t get flushed/removed and it goes away as well when I reve the engine

    It sounds louder on the bottom, and no it drives prefect, crazy thing is it only happens when its really hot temp, cold start it’s fine even at operating temp no noise only when I drive for about 30 mins

    I don’t hear it when I rise the rpm, and cause I had a lifter failure, and it tore up the camshaft. So I told them replace all lifters along with camshaft. I look at it if one fails others will too.

    Oil leak? Any possibilities?

    Just wanting everyone’s input, to get a general idea where it might be coming from, make sure the shop isn’t ripping me off. So I had my lifters replaced and camshaft, oil pump, and timing chain. It got all out back together then I had to go back to the shop cause I had a oil leak on the valve...

    Lifter failure preventions?

    I’ve already changed bolts, and the exhaust manifold fixed 2 years ago both sides. I did that my self, other then machine flattening part
