    Anyone have theories as what is causing piston slap with Redline 5w20/30? Possibly the viscosity at 100F? At 100F RL 5w20 is 53 and the 5w30 is 71. The PUP blend I'm on now is 46-48 with no slap. Should I bother factoring pour points just worry about keeping my 100F viscosity below 50?

    Could be large like 30 microns, Wix makes that filter for NAPA. Then again Wix also makes the SRT filter and supposedly that is 20 microns.

    The Wix is temporary until 20-820 are back, lord willing. If not then Fram XG mid or large size. The tick increased with the 10-48 and was borderline non existent when I had the small 57060XP

    Great info for DT owners looking at bigger filters. Seems the XG2 might be a tad bigger than the typical RP 20-820, SRT, Wix 57899XP size. Finding actual dimensions on the SRT filter is proving difficult which is my only frame of reference for the larger filter. Edit: Found the answer shortly...
