That came out great! I wrapped all my chrome trim and the lower pieces in-place but haven't attempted the upper pieces yet. Removing the parts definitely is the way to go...maybe someday.
I tried a 9 drive controller. Used it about a month before going into limp mode, luckily on a backroad. Pulled over and managed to get home ok. Took it out and it’s been sitting in a drawer ever since.
I did a major cleaning this week. Washed, Clayed (the lower half only), sealed with TW Ice Seal n Shine then topped with TW spray wax. Used VRP on the Tonneau cover. Treated the leather and all the interior surfaces too. Zaino on the leather and 303 on the dash etc. Used Repcon on the...
I had my front windows tinted to the legal limit here in MA. I also removed my backseat to do some soundproofing, do the folding mod and check my RF hub. Two of the bolts came out really hard and we’re pretty rusty so I bought new ones. One was actually stripped a bit in the middle and I’m...
I have a pink connector on the back wall near the RF hub which I’m guessing is the RS antenna? If so would a RF hub from a 2015 with PTS and remote start work in my 2015? Would anyone have the P/N for that hub? I can’t find a 2017 hub in stock anywhere.
Has anyone come across trucks that are mostly wired for this mod? I thought I saw mention of some Laramie or sport models that had some of the antenna wiring from the factory? I have a 2015 1500 Laramie and was hoping to avoid some of the wire harness work. I added the factory remote start and...
Started my interior chrome delete...I'm happy with it for my first try vinyl wrapping anything. Not a perfect match for the black plastic but better than being blinded while driving. I did my console lid handle too. Not sure if I'll keep that though.
Organized my Ramboxes and installed the pedal covers that were listed earlier...thanks for spending my money!! Waiting for the pollen to stop blowing before washing. Hopefully this weekend.
I installed a new hood latch as the wiring was already there and new fob overlays and RS works great in my 2015. I removed the flashlogic I had installed previously as the factory is a better setup IMO. I haven’t tested the range but it seems pretty good for me.
I got a coat of Seal n' shine on the paint, bought a bottle of touch up paint at the stealership and ordered the lock rod retainer clips for the Ram Box locks from Mopar parts overstock because the dealer had none. $10 to ship 4 97 cent parts that weigh nothing! :banghead:
I installed the Deezee tailgate assist and started my bed light install. It was finally warm enough to risk the LEDs not sticking under the rails. Still need to finish the wiring. I’m using the Curt trailer adapter for power and doing a pin switch in the tailgate with a bypass switch and relay.
I know this is an old thread but I’m curious if the newer designed plates are prone to rusting? I’m debating whether to put some clear coat on mine before installing.
