one other thing that can be used if you do not have the MFT, is the bedrug xl bedmat. It is a one piece that goes onto the tailgate as well, covering the gap. That keeps a lot of crap out. Had one on my last few trucks, work really well- ocwill1

Is it the tires, the shop or me…
I had a set of tires on my 2016 2500 (amp tires) that were actually spinning on the rim. I marked the tire at the valve stem, drove around and saw they were slipping on the rim. I would get them balanced and it would continue to happen. After so many miles of this, I finally got rid of them...- ocwill1

Ram 1500 EV is questionable if it makes it to market
What I would like to see if more PHEV, the ones out now get you 35-45 miles of all electric, then they kick over to gas. If they could boost them up some, would be even better. That is a good tip on the MFT, I did notice once that I did not close it all the way and saw it on the dash. Will start looking at 3rd brake light for now on- ocwill1

Bed/Tailgate Mat for 2021 RAM 1500 with MFT
I am going to get the bedtred and mod it. Just have to figure out what to use to stick the cut portions to the plastic on the mft. How is the silicone holding up on the closed cell foam on the underside of the bedrug? -
Not new, but back
Just picked up my 2023 1500 Limited.. Level 1, multi-function tailgate, Pano roof, Night edition, and a couple other minor options. Really like it, such a smooth ride.. Traded in 2021 F150 Lariat Powerboost. Loved that truck too, however the A/C was acting up and Ford decided they did not...- ocwill1

Is that because of a defect, or lack of use. I know with the F150 pano roofs most people that did not use them had the issues. When I had mine, I used it a lot and never had issues with it.- ocwill1

I only like the PW because of its looks, has nothing to do with off roading. In my neck of the woods, Central MD, there is nowhere to off road anyway, except for small trails more for jeeps.. kind of figured.. thanks.. how is the ride in the new 19, heard it was much better.. I had a 2016 and put on new shocks (fox), thuren front suspension. Had the air ride so couldn't do too much in rear except for shocks.. I know it is a HD, but gotta be able to get it ride better....- ocwill1

Contemplating going back to HD 2500 later this year, early next year and want to know why the PW's have such a low payload capacity. Do they not have the same axles, is it the different springs. I can see a difference of some amount, but more than half is crazy.. I don't tow, but haul weight...- ocwill1

I guess I am one of the stupid ones, since I financed my 60K truck and lease a vehicle as well. I go through vehicles every 2-3 years, and that is why we lease the wifes ride.
