    I've had both, but the only in-channel that worked for me were stainless steel on my 73 F150. I tried the Vent-shade in-channel on my 73 Ram RC and they made wind noise and wouldn't stay in. On my second set of Goodyear stick on shades with no complaints. (different trucks).

    I'll bet it's dirty battery cables. Same thing kept happening to my wife's car. I finally got down and cleaned them real good and used the sprays that enhance contact and prevent corrosion. Been trouble free for months now. Same battery.

    If I was worried, 44 bucks is a lot less than any repairs. Heck, it's cheaper than a dinner for 3 at McDonald's. When I was shopping for a used truck I bought a years subscription to Carfax. It was cheaper than 3 requests.

    When I bought my 13 Ram 1500 there was a Viper on the showroom floor that had been there for 2 years. Salesman saw me looking and tried his best to get me to drive it. I think it was the gray hair. If he only knew my history.
