I just had my exhaust manifolds replaced and used the Remflex gaskets. My mechanic took 16 hours to get 9 broken studs out. No more exhaust ticks, no lifters ticks and so quiet I can hear tire noise, lol. I guess all that is left to do is see how long it lasts.

While driving my 05 Powerwagon noticed a lot of noise from underneath. While searching for the cause, I found this...broken cab bolt.
Did anyone encounter this before? It's the most rearward bolt on the passenger side. I don't see an easy fix.
I know it's rusty, but I need to make it last as...

Been a member for almost 5 years and never thought starting a thread for my truck, lol.
Got the truck from my brother-in-law in 2017.
Being in Northern Ontario, the road salt does a lot of damage to vehicles. So I'm trying to fix the rusted areas economically.
Got a pair of silver...
Sorry for the delay in updating this thread. I did clean up all the grounds and also replaced the crankshaft position sensor. The truck hasn't shut off on it's own since. Thanks again for the advice!
I really like it. Already used it on my brother's 300C. The live data indicated a problem with his rear CV axle shaft. Has for why I chose Innova, it comes down to features and that I got a great deal.
I am retired, so if I know I have to go somewhere and the temperature is lower than -20C, I will connect the block heater. If something comes up unexpectedly, I start it cold.
If you are still under warranty and worried that a different weight oil might jeopardize it, then stay with the 5W20. If you aren't worried about warranty and don't mind a few more $, then Redline 5W30 is the ticket.
I have an older Innova 3100 OBD2 scan tool and I would need a newer one that is capable of doing an ABS bleed and live data (ABS, O2 sensors, etc.)
Would like your comments on your experiences with these scanners.
Looking to spend about $500. Currently looking at the Innova 5160rs.
