Jut out of curiosity, does anyone think they might need to replace the whole engine? I'm in Alabama and our Lemon law stats that if you have the same problem 3 times within 24 months I believe, then it qualifies. I'm hoping that the dealership makes this right. Guess we'll see
ok now I'm really frustrated, truck has started ticking again after only 2 weeks since it was repaired. 17000 miles on truck, definitely coming from lifter/lifters only starts after oil gets hot. Beyond pissed!
Update on truck. Finally got my truck back. Had to replace all lifters, rockers, intake and exhaust valves due to unusual wear. Was told this is not uncommon in the Hemi 5.7. Seems like bs especially with only 15000 miles at the time of repair. All is quiet again. Guess we will see
So the truck has been at the dealership for going on 2 weeks for lifter problems. Just wanted to know how long should this job take? Just seems like it should have been completed by now. I was told the week before I dropped it off that they would have all the parts in to complete the work. Guess...
Well seems they haven't changed a thing about these lifters failing. 14000 miles and the damn thing sounds like a Diesel. Guess Ill be headed back to the dealership to be told its normal
