Yes hellwig works wonders but @mrack is right a sway bar doesn’t work miracles. Super lift had spacers in rear if I remember right I see them so rarely. A set of +3” coils to replace any spacers would be a bigger upgrade.
On my truck I did core 4x4 upper and lower rear control arms, tracbar and...
all the suspension remains the same on the 25’s the steering knuckles are different and they have an external abs sensor instead of one integrated into the hubs.
Pro tip: anything 2” or above you’ll want to raise the rear at least 1”. Anything 2.5” or above it’s recommended to get an angle...
I can’t go off of firestones alignment spec frankly because I can’t trust them at all. I can say that an alignment tech can make those numbers say anything unfortunately. I would recommend getting an alignment from a reputable place that body shops use a lot.
What I meant by the alignment is...
The upper ball joints are going to let loose any minute.
The wonky cv angles are normal for the 4” kits. Moving to a Bilstein set at .7 fixes it. Side to side height is normally due to the alignment.
You can order 3” rear springs from @Nick@GotExhaust
Happens every time, since it’s been 6 years it’s time to upgrade. Bilstein and Eibach are the most cost effective bang for buck. You’ll need new top hats but honestly I would recommend reaching out to @Nick@GotExhaust for the next step up into coil over world. The ride will be night and day better
As said before @Nick@GotExhaust is going to be your answer because at the end of the day decisions become how much you're willing to spend and not so much what you want
Lifts /Levels are suspension improvements. Unfortunately you may have experienced a company such as rough country or an installation not done properly. Its sad, I have had 100% positive feedback from new installs to fixing botched installs from various shops in our area. (If your from NJ like...
If you want to delete the spacer and do a full length option it’s going to cost more than just doing a Bilstein 5100 replacement strut. @Nick@GotExhaust can assist you with options. Rough Country does not make quality suspension parts
Rough Country has the worst geometry in the industry. They will nickel and dime you the life of the truck once they start having issues. Unfortunately I see this everyday I’m not just hating
It’s 16 full turns while the spring is compressed in a strut machine. If they are scratched I would request new ones because they are designed to me done by hand. If they are for a 5th Gen ram they may not adjust low enough to achieve “0” of a 4th Gen to make the Zone Geometry aces. You want to...
Ship your truck to Pennsylvania and I’ll provide everything you need including the install. However I am not a vendor on this forum @Nick@GotExhaust is that is why I linked him above. Click on the link and find where it says start a conversation and he will send you pricing drop shipped to your door
It’s important to know the backspacing on the wheels. 35’s are fine the rubbing would be offset/backspace and width of tire could contact the UCA. If you’re near PA we would measure
If leveled properly and not just raise the front you’ll be golden. @Nick@GotExhaust has package deals to get you set up right. Take the guess work out of what you need and enjoy a forum member discount
We recently built a highway traveler ram that drives from bucks county PA to Florida regularly. I opted for the Bilstein 6112 package for the smoothest ride. They come with soft rate coils and have a much bigger body. The rear shocks can match the Bilstein fronts but I’ve tested the Fox 2.0’s...
Im 2 for 2 LOL
Reach out out to nick@gotexhaust you cant use the coils that you have. The best bang for the buck is the eibach part #E86-27-011-01-20. Buy them from Nick and read the instructions, you will find they talk about collar settings and you want to set your collar at 135mm
