    When I lived in Northern Canada a block heater was essential. During the day too. It got down to -40, -50 and below. In Nova Scotia it's not as essential. If it's going to dip below -25C I'll plug it in. We had a few days of -40 this winter and I plugged it in overnight.

    I have a 2022. What if you get out when its running, leave the fob inside, and lock it using the spare fob? I'm going to give that a try.
