I took the RF hub apart and there was no water and no obvious issue. I checked the wiring for power and it has power. Not sure where to go from here.- ACB8

I downloaded the app but it needs the sensor IDs. When I use my OBD reader it does see the TPMS module so I can't get the IDs.- ACB8

I have four brand new TPMS and I had them retested and they are working with the correct frequency. I’ll take the RF module apart to see what I can find. Then I’ll trace to check connections. If you have a schematic I’d be super grateful if you’d share it. Thanks again.- ACB8

I pulled of the left fender guard and I don’t see a module. The closest thing I came to was a wiring harness see attached photo. I looked and looked but I don’t see a module. I’ve seen videos of this for a 2013 but not on a 2016. My truck is lifted so it’s easy to see around most things. If...- ACB8

I saw that Rams are notorious for leaking behind the seat and luckily I dont have that issue. Not yet at least! I attached a picture of my current RF Hub Module so you can see the number. All the reading I’ve done says the 2016 TPMS mod is on the ball wall behind the rear seats. This is the RF hub as well. One plug is for all the radio “stuff” and the other is an antenna type plug which is for the TPMS. I’d buy a new module if I knew the one I currently have was shot or failing...- ACB8

I noticed a couple little boxes wired into the headlight wires which I’m sure are resistors. Been tempted to remove them since it doesn’t fix the alert issue.- ACB8

Update: so I took my truck back to the tire shop and they’re confused too. The guy took my truck and turned it to the run position, turned everything else off and let it sit for 25 minutes. Alfa reads when the key is in the run position so I know it has power. It’s seeing all the other modules except for the TPMS module. But again I’m seeing conflicting info. Some people say the module is up in the fender well/frame and others are saying it’s behind the front seat.- ACB8

My sound proofing definitely has metal in it. As far as the frequency the guys set I don’t know. I did pull out the RF hub, away from the sound proofing while being connected and no changes. I’m going to call the tire shop to see if the hub is working from the tpms side of things. I know it’s...- ACB8

Yep, total metal top layer. If I was to pull out the module, away from the sound proofing but leave the wires connected, would it make sense that it should work then? Trying to avoid pulling out all the sound proofing if I don’t have to.- ACB8

The more I think about I bet you’re right. Not sure of the timeline of when I put in the sound proofing to when I started having trouble but it’s gotta be close. Some of the wires are covered as well. I’ll post an update once I’ve removed it. Thanks!- ACB8
