I've been looking for info on what the frame width where the bumper mounts in front for the 2006 1500 Mega Cab. Thanks for the confirmation that it is the same width as the 2500. -

My dad is a Ram Truck aficionado. He shared a link ot the forum with me. I've been a forum member for a while but just recently purchased a 2006 Ram 1500 Mega Cab. Working through the issues that come with a 17 year old vehicle but liking the truck so far.- Andrew_

RAM 2500 6.4 2014 Brake light not working
Good advice. I did everything myself but start tracking circuits. I just dont want to do that part. I dropped it at the mechanic and his electrical guy is looking at it today. I will share what they find out. -

Unfortunate no one replied to this. I have the exact same issue now. 2006 Dodge Ram 1500, 3rd light works, brake lights do not turn on. hazards work, blinkers work. Hopefully my reply motivates someone knowledgeable to respond.
