    The way I see it is as long as the prefilter is less restrictive than the main filter itself, it shouldn't restrict the overall air flow through the main filter. In other words, as long as more air can pass through the prefilter than the main filter can pull, there should be no negative effect...

    Yeah, the filter wrap definitely gives me much more confidence that it's "safe" to drive in rain and I don't have to worry about water getting in. But I completely agree on the cost, it was quite high and not really sure of the return on investment with it yet...

    steering column rattle (brake pedal)

    I've got a 2016 Sport that has the same rattle going over bumps, except mine is the parking brake pedal. I originally though mine was the brake pedal also, but applying pressure to it didn't change the noise. Slightly depressing the the parking break pedal (or applying pressure from the side)...

    What did you do with your 4th Gen this week?

    Put on oem steps today (82213591AC). Definitely much easier in/out, and the girlfriend is much happier now.... Was torn between the black and chrome ones, decided on chrome after playing around with photoshop and putting each one on. The chrome just seemed to work a little better for me.
