    I've seen about a 3mpg difference between winter and summer. It sucks but I'm not goign to lose sleep over it. I didn't really expect a 2 ton,400 horsepower V8, 4wd, with the aerodynamics of a brick wall to get much better. Right now I'm getting 5 mpg worse then I was with a car that weighed...

    By just taking a quick peak over in the Diesel area of this message board, it looks like the 2500 6.7's are lucky to get 18mpg. I would never trust a dealership for info on mpg. Hell the new ecodiesel in the 1500 w/8sp and about half the power only gets 23 combined and that's record breaking.

    This. In fact in may be worse since you have 5,000+ lbs to stop. Whenever we have our first winter storm about 75+% of the cars in wrecks and ditches are either AWD or 4wd.

    I use my heater more when it's cold but that's about it. I wonder if the cylinder deactivation has some trigger on temperature?

    Temperature really seems to play a big role and I don't know why. For the last week when it's been hanging around 30 and above I've been getting around 18mpg. A couple of weeks ago when it was zero and below I was lucky to get 15mpg. Same drive, same speed, same gas, etc.

    People usually think they are better then the electronics in their car (ABS for example), they usually are not. I watch a lot of motorcycle racing and it's amazing how these professional riders lose so much speed if they happen to lose their traction control.

    Winter fuel plus a little bit of iddling has cost me about 2 mpg. Went from 17 to 15 over the last couple of months.

    Had ice here in Iowa today. Wife's Acura RDX pulled out of the garage and stopped. I pulled out of the garage, put it in park, and slid down the driveway. I guess mine weighs a little more then hers. 4wd doesn't help you stop. Can't wait to get some real snow.

    I did the update, went to the uconnect store, and I see "via mobile" but it says "trial included" but nowhere does it allow me to download. I've set up Pandora on the Uconnect web site. What am I missing?
