Hoping someone can help me with this. My drivers side sun visor has a rattle when going over bumps. It’s clicked in to its holder and the noise goes away when I hold the visor. The second I let it go the rattle comes back. Anyone else have this?
So it’s only been 2 days but operation “fold and pray” seems to be semi successful. The mirrors have stayed clean but my poor tonneau cover is now their version of White Sands Missle Test Range. I think this is a trade I’ll begrudgingly accept.
Does anyone know if it’s possible to have your...
After today’s wash I folded the mirrors in. Let’s see if it helps (I did notice those stupid sparrow birds having some sort of bird dance **** on my tonneau cover as soon as I came inside). My mirrors are all black with the exception of the mirror itself and the light for the turn signal.
My...
No matter where I am or what time of day, birds keep landing on my side view mirrors and taking massive turds. It’s infuriating. I finish a wash and polish, clean up, go inside, and an hour later my mirrors look like a bird crap bombing range.
Does this happen to anyone else? Any ideas? I do...
2024 Rebel G/T with 2300 miles. I’m averaging 13.8mpg. With that said, I remote start my truck for a few minutes every time just to get the juices flowing. I also permanently disabled the auto start/stop which drives me crazy. I’m assuming the G/T and Rebel combination has some performance tune...
I’ve searched all over and found nothing for the 5th gen’s. I have a ‘24 Ram 1500 Rebel G/T and an aftermarket keyfob. I purchased the OBDLink MX+ and bypass cable from KAOdTECH. I planned to use AlfaOBD but have not purchased it yet.
I’ve only found programming instructions for 4th gen’s or...
So I ended up purchasing (through mopar) a pre-paid oil change package. 3 changes that must be used within 2 years, with filter, for $180. I figured I’d have them do the winter oil changes and I’d do the ones in warmer weather. When they perform the oil change it is billed out as “Warrenty”...
So as others have recommended, I took my truck to the dealership for its first oil change. The truck is just under 1000 miles, so I figured it was close enough. I specified that I wanted them to use the “Premium Synthetic” oil to which they agreed. I’m looking at the invoice and it says they...
Wish I saw this sooner. I was convinced that I had no ambient lighting. I just happen to lower the dash lights from 100% to whatever is just below that and the ambient lights came on.
So it turns out that if you have the dial for the dash brightness all the way up, the ambient lights are disabled. Once I lowered the dash brightness the ambient lights suddenly came on.
Without having seen the backside of the OEM bed lights, I’m assuming he just tapped off of the red wire feeding it. Not a huge fan of them, but T-taps are really useful for situations like this.
Anyone have some suggestions on which fuse to use for the “switch on”? I’m adding an add-a-circuit fuse tap and can’t find anything listed as ACC or similar. I wouldn’t mind using an exterior circuit that comes on with the unlock button if possible. Thanks for the help.
Nearly identical story here except mine was a ‘24. $86355 MSRP. Got them down to $16k off of that and they gave me $8500 for my 2011 Tacoma with 213k miles. Figured I would refinance later this year when rates go down.
Did you ever get the LED light strip to work? If so, which fuse did you use? I’m looking to install a LED light strip between the hood and grill but can’t find a fuse that comes on with ACC. All the install videos show an outdated fuse box
