Had this happen to my 2019 RAM 3500 over a month ago. CP4 pump trashed the entire fuel system. $300 tow to a independent shop. $12,000 to convert back to a CP3. Today I'm told I should have my truck back within the next couple of days.
I had the throttle response system codes on my 2019 diesel RAM. It was bad news. The CP4 pump had gone and trashed my entire fuel system. It was a $12,000 repair. It's been in for repair for over a month. Going back to the CP3 pump system. I was told it should be done in the next couple of days.
My 2019 does this too. Dealer here might see my truck in a few weeks, then keep it for days just to tighten a nut. Their schedule hasn't worked for me yet. Love the truck, not so for the service department.
Thanks for the pics. Since its -20 degrees here I may wait until spring as the plastic is probably stiff. Got the old one stuck together so it kind of works.
Hey, mine just came on today. Hoping t goes out after a few starts as I won't bring my truck to the dealer any more. If they flash my truck it will turn into a brick (you can guess why). At 47K now and getting ready for a 9700 mile road trip with a car hauler behind. Hope this doesn't jack...
Like my new 2019 diesel 3500 but would wait until Chrysler fixes a software engine code (P0299) problem before getting one. If I had seen Star Online Publication S2018000008 before buying I probably would have made another choice. Chrysler still hasn't responded to this issue.
Sure would be nice if Chrysler would fix this P0299 code problem. Considering the star publication number is S2018000008 I'm assuming this has been an issue since 2018. Now my engine light actually goes out every few days, but comes back on within a couple hours driving time. Still the P0299...
I've got this issue with my new 2019 RAM 3500 with the HO engine. Dealer service says its a software issue that Chrysler has not come up with a fix for yet. See Star Online Publication 2018000008 for details. I have contacted about everyone you can at Chrysler and still have no ETA on a fix...
I now have an NCDS case filled against Chrysler for this issue. Calls to Chrysler, and all associated have stated it as a known problem but no ETA on a fix yet. I wouldn't recommend buying one of these trucks until they fix this issue with their new diesel.
Anyone else have the engine light on due to the P0299 code thrown out listed on Star Online Publication S2018000008? All I get from Chrysler so far is that they are working on a software fix. Won't even pass step one of a smog check due to the engine light. This is on a 2019 RAM 3500. Still...
Just some additional info; this is on a Star Online Publication case # S2018000008. If you try to get a smog test in CA you will fail step one. Engine light is on.
My surge is not as extreme. Just noticeable while accelerating, or going up a grade. Chrysler had a Star Online Publication (Case # S2018000008) on my issue. I called the Mopar tech connect line yesterday and they still don't have an ETA on when a fix will be done. Considering the fact that this...
Brought it in and was told the engine light, and the surge are due to a software issue and Chrysler is working to resolve it. They can't clear the engine light which keeps the auto start from working. Otherwise they say everything is fine. Hope they have a fix before winter hits Fairbanks...
My 2019 RAM 3500 Diesel got an engine light at about 20K miles (P0299 Under boost). Also has had a slight surge since it was new. Dodge had flashed my truck with an update a couple weeks before which had no effect on the surging. Brought it in and was told the engine light, and the surge are due...
My software issue doesn't have anything to do with the radio. My 2019 RAM 3500 Diesel got an engine light at about 20K miles (P0299 Under boost). Also has had a slight surge since it was new. Dodge had flashed my truck with an update a couple weeks before. Brought it in and was told the engine...
I've got this error (P0299) on my 2019 Diesel Ram at 21,000 miles. Also notice it has a bit of a surge under load, which seems to have been there since it was new. Now that I'm watching the turbo pressure on the dash I see that surges at the same time. Went to Dodge in Fairbanks and was told...
