I got this reply from titan tanks.
Good morning Heath. Unfortunately with a gas powered truck it is very limited. The EPA/government has regulations which make it virtually impossible to do replacement or auxiliary tanks for gasoline. The gasoline tank is considered to be part of the EVAP...
Yup, i got the same responce from titan and transfer flow. 50 gallon tank would be too much for the stock evap system because of the extra gas vapor. Whatever!
Has anyone checked out the spare tire transfer tank fron titan. Says diesel only but could be used for gas, it vents out the cap and transfers into main tank with remote switch and pump...
Not going bigger tires but 8k is the lightest i usually pull and sometimes up to 14k. Travel trailer is 8500 and i pull it over cascades and coastal mountains 4 times a year. Truck does good but lower gears will help. Also wish i had a bigger fuel tank but thats for another topic.
I have an 18 mega cab 2500, 6.4 hemi, 6 speed trans, 3.73 gears, 4wd, stock 20in wheels and tires. With this setup i am thinking i should regear to 4.56. Would like to hear others opinions. Thanks
Thanks, good to hear from someone that has done it. I have a company truck so mine only gets adout 3500 miles a year. Half of it is usually pulling heavy and the rest is family hauler.
