    2004 Ram 2500 Diesel. Twice now in two weeks have had these codes show and transmission won't shift out of 3rd (2500 rpm @55 mph). 1st time while climbing a grade @55mph after driving 10 miles, check light came on and trans won't shift. At destination for an hour and all back to normal...

    Gas cap Alert

    I usually leave my Ram or JeepGC running when I refuel, wife inside and AC or heat on. Never had a CEL while doing that. I did have a P0456 about 3years ago, OK installed an aftermarket cap and all is well. Why?

    EPA Mileage on my Flex fuel 3.6 l pentastar is 23 gasoline and16 E85. Not my numbers, a government agency number.

    Other than the time I left a 12v cooler plugged in for several days, I have never had a battery issue, and it sits 2 months while I'm on vacation.

    Truck driven with Washer fluid in coolant.

    The coolant expansion tank has LOTS of room. At least the bugs will come off the inside of the radiator.

    Backing up with door open

    At one time Ram had an issue of putting tranny in park but it was actually in reverse . . there solution was to blow the horn when in reverse with door open. I solved that by keeping my left foot on the brake while backing up with the door open. My wife learned the $$$ way about backing out...

    New Ram owner, can't believe how bad it is in the snow.

    Those wide tires just FLOAT on top and hydrosnowplane. The original VW Bug did well in snow because of the narrow tires cutting through the snow. Choose: looks . . . .function.

    And there goes the windshield

    I had a similar crack in a 7" round headlight. I put A drop of crazy glue on it,. . that was 6 years ago and halogen light still works. Not sure if that would work on a windshield..
