Couldn't tell you the exact failure without contacting them but i know one had to have the lifters and camshaft replaced and his truck had a lot less KMs than mine. He didn't even know it was a thing, he just told me casually like he was just unlucky and maybe had a bad truck from the factory...- LuFc92

I honestly don't know, there are literally thousands and thousands of RAMs up here in Alberta/Canada all going through winter the same way, if not worse than mine. Totally off topic but do the 6.4 392's in the SRT variants suffer from lifter problems as well, reason I ask is that in the next year or two i kinda want to swap out the 5.7 for one? I didn't keep reciepts so i ended up having to go through 4 years worth of banking transactions and highlight everytime i bought oil and filters. I've moved so much that these things get lost on the way. I've never had this problem before with any other manufacturer when my vehicle has been under warranty. Winter we can see anything upto -40 DC, the truck was being used everyday through last winter. Well 8k KM is only 5k miles right? I believe it was already failing before i put the redline in the truck, i still plan to use redline once the issue is fixed- LuFc92

It does it warm and cold. The first place they checked was manifold bolts, it even says it on my paperwork. The truck is still under warranty so im not bearing the cost but the tech said he's confident one of the lifters has collapsed now that he can actually hear it. Id say 6 months...- LuFc92

See it sounds louder to me on the passenger side but at this point its just loud wherever you stand.
