I can’t help you because you refuse to believe me what you’re showing me is a ground strap to reduce static discharge.. a ground strap like what is used on fuel tank filler tube for static discharge.
Not as what I suggested as a dedicated ground.
Never mind it’s pointless.
Call what ever you...
Maybe you’re familiar with this shop that has a YouTube channel
Maybe you can ask this guy why the cylinder heads are grounded as they are ? for static reasons ? or better electrical conductivity ?
I believe it maybe easier to hear it from somebody else...
I am not your friend and your use of Dude towards me is derogatory.
I believe the ground straps you refer to are bonding straps not technically grounds straps and the ground strap on the 2012 had three ( one with a clip ) where my truck only uses two that are daisy chained to each cylinder head...
QUOTE:
“ no MOPAR or Chrysler's I ever owned had a dedicated ground strap from an aluminum cylinder head to the body… “
I want to apologize to the OP Laval for the hijacking their thread.
If you are having warranty or recall work preformed there is an alternative of approved service centers that are licensed to preform factory service repairs and recalls sometimes referred to as independent repair shops.
They are mostly factory trained technicians that opened their own shops...
Ok but he didn’t so no need to worry.
Galvanic corrosion is an electrochemical process where two different metallic materials are connected electrically through an electrolyte [1]. Accelerated electrolyte drives corrosive ions to reactive sites faster than motionless electrolyte (erosion or...
Congratulations on your joining the Dodge Ram Truck Community
I think you have a pretty nice scanner that has lots of functions and is pretty specific in application for your truck
How long actually has the truck been sitting ?
The first thing is battery voltage
what is it when using a...
Maybe a typo but F30 is either for another vehicle and not a 2020 Ram Truck or the zero should be a 3
Or you have another problem altogether
In any case that doesn’t stop the fix congratulations!
Where are your map lights in your truck ?
By reason of deduction if you remove F-33 fuse .. is it blown ?
If you posses a multi-meter you don’t need to remove the fuse
Use the metal contacts on top of the fuse to see if there is conductivity between them...
You need to provide proof for that one no MOPAR or Chrysler's I ever owned had a dedicated ground strap from an aluminum cylinder head to the body… no one would stop you of course from starting your own thread telling everyone what a great idea it is.
I would definitely check for other bolts.
Are you sure the drive isn’t stuck and using a big hammer to tap the body to loosen the armature so it can spin ?
Otherwise use of other tools like
dead blow air hammer ?
brass drift ?
pry bar ...
I have one but it doesn’t cover much its worth about $10 in good condition not like the older hayes manuals
what particularly are you looking for ?
power wagon were only 2500’s when they when reintroduced in 2016 for the 2017 production year if I remember correctly
different suspensions and...
Goad to see you’re getting somewhere
check out this recent thread

I want you to rethink this strategy of grounding an aluminum cylinder head to the body of it’s chassis
Electrolysis exist because of electrical conductive current ( engine coolant ) flowing inside two dissimilar metals the softer of the two is the aluminum
And it is almost always commented...
Had a similar problem from interference to driver side wheel speed sensor’s signal was compromised by a bent dust shield ..
you mentioned inspecting the brake components visually
Check the wheel speed sensor for signal interference , physical damage, disruption or connector contamination.
GT is correct the cellular services outside the metropolitan districts of San Diego are sparse here is a picture of a cell tower in Southern California near the town of Borrego Springs and for scale of reference the telephone poles near the tower are close to 40 ft / 12 meters
Is this something that’s new when you step on the brakes does it go away ? RFI comes in many forms, did you ever see that post where a CB/ mobile coms installer was looking for a radio kit that is commonly offered for emergency/ first responders vehicles to promote clearer reception..
Did you...
Your truck probably has a connector similar to this that is identified as
C238 - LT. GRAY (HEADLINER_LT) 20 WAY
It may be possible that it’s grounding source is compromised.
When you apply the brake pedal the high marker stop light maybe helping this connector complete it’s ground connection...
You mean the head unit not the engine cylinder head?
Have you tried RFI , FERRITE RING CLIPS ?
Around the antenna cable ?

Do you have ab RF hub below your rear window inside the cab ?
