    So, in summer had a/c act up - when going from High AC to regular AC it would lock up and blow warm air only. Big 4 re-charge AC and sealed the descicant plug leak. Seemed to work better but still a bit off. Now it's winter, start truck up in morning ( doesn't matter if remote or key start)...

    Well, also have gone thru 1 manifold on Drivers side and 2 on passenger side. And always changed out all bolts, manifolds and factory gaskets. Drivers side at 154,000 km first Passenger side at 186,000 km and second at 270,000 km. IMHO I think it's a gasket / heat shield issue which keeps too...

    Vararam Air Grabber!

    If you live in an area with cold and snow - you should put a Winter front on anyways! The thing flows too good and the air is too cold! Mine doesn't like the -30 C air temps - so I have the front from the eco diesel - works like a charm.

    How far on do you put the coupler to the top fitting? Do yu push it all the way - instructions are vauge. Or do you seat the bottom and allow the hood to seat the unit then tighten the lamps? Will be installing as soon as I get the last part.

    Fedex! We try and not us UPS here in Canada- they charge the shipper first, then when package arrives in Canada they charge the reciever again! If it's $40 shipping they end up charging the reciever another $40! Good deal - eh!

    Check it over really good when you get it! Mine arrived, box looked good- centre plastic part has crack from one side half way to other side! Not Matt's fault, don't think they pack them with enough peanuts and the damn thing can shift around when the truckers throw the boxes around!

    epitomeofme: what did you do to the chrome prior to painting? I put bed liner on the grill insets and it does chip off! I thought it would be tougher - but I guess it has nothing to hold on too! Need more pic's?!!
