2015 ram big horn codes driving me nuts . HELP

This sounds like the same thing that drove me to trade my truck in. The big connector underneath the driver's seat area. If you just slide under the truck, it's easy to spot...I posted a link about it. The connector is large and in a place that can get wet easily. Also it's ridiculously fragile...

    GDE shut down for now

I see 2020's are not listed on GDE yet, also they lifted the price a bit. I will be fine with the 2020 performance and a pedal commander.

    Cummins vs. ecodiesel

The 12,500 "tow rating" for the 1500 is for like one model the max tow tradesman with 2 wheel drive. I have a eco limited with the correct rear, sunroof delete and tow package. The max tow is 9800 lbs. You can look up the actual, real world tow rating for every Ram model easily. Then there is...

2020 Gen 3 ED - Tune/Mods or lack there of

Ah. Well I was set to buy for my 2014 and couldn't order. They told me they were shut down, but seems they are back. I thought their tune was pricey but read mostly good reviews. For me the PC gets the job done for now.

2020 Gen 3 ED - Tune/Mods or lack there of

I thought GDE was shut down by the EPA. The easiest and biggest bang is a pedal commander imho. The Gen 3 is improved, not like amazing but it's a tiny engine. Impressive for a 3.0, I am enjoying the towing for sure.

Best things about the 2020 RAM 1500 EcoDiesel

I wish I could have gotten RamBox but i got the last 2020 Eco on the lot. I wanted sunroof delete as a #1 and did luckily get that. RamBox looks incredibly useful. Oh well, next truck.

    Service transmission continue in d

I had that issue. The stealer made many attempt to fix it and then I finally did. There is a big electrical connector under the drivers seat region that is likely causing this behavior. You can take it apart, check for corrosion etc. then use dielectric grease on it. You want to be really...

    2020 Eco diesel problems?

Oil filters cost like seven bucks on Amazon. What a stupid thing for a sales person to say. I think the early gen Eco's had some issues, but the new gen is a different beast. I had a 2014 and now a 2020 Limited and tow just a bit more than you plan to. If I were towing from Maine to Arizona -...

3.0 EcoDiesel Reviews Needed (Real World)

The Mopar factory one. https://www.factorymopardirect.com/oem-parts/mopar-assist-steps-bed-step-82215289ag Can't remember if I bought it there, but that is the correct part number for my Limited and the best price. Even with my military discount at the stealer it was like 400 ? Dead simple...

3.0 EcoDiesel Reviews Needed (Real World)

Update; added pedal commander, worth every penny. Added Mopar bed step, worth every penny. Spyder roll up bed cover, same. 1.5 inch forged spacers, worth 5x price. Improved looks, stance and tow manners. Just towed roughly 9k pounds of camper 400 miles, averaged 15.7 mpg. Also learned that it's...

    Eco Boost Turbo Lag

I agree with the mechanic. After many attempts to use K&N filters on various machines, I have learned they are a complete waste of money and counter productive. If you want to address pedal lag (it's not just turbo) then you have a couple choices. Pedal or tune. The cheapest thing is pedal...

    EcoDiesel Buyers Guide

+1 on the recall history. Even with the Eco extended warranty repairs were getting too frequent and expensive. I got tired of the issues to and they gave me 24k for my 2014 (!) and I do like my limited.

    Air Ride Suspension

Answer is yes just add aftermarkets. I added them on a 2014 Eco with a remote and loved them. Don't mess around with factory air suspension. The gear is cheap, but the install is pricey.

DEF: Fill When Low or Top Up?

My man, I strive for peak efficiency. Besides I am a boat owner with 2 x 100 gallon fuel tanks. I run everything close to empty. In all seriousness, it doesn't matter if you run your def tank full not full whatever makes one happy. I hope this isn't one of those forums where people spend their...

DEF: New to DEF Diesels...advice please

Yeah I use the Wally World brand cause it's the cheapest. If you let it run out the truck will warn you then disable itself. I let it run down to an 1/8 a tank or whatever then add. Don't overfill it.

3.0 EcoDiesel Reviews Needed (Real World)

I just traded my 2014 Laramie for a 2020 limited. I collected the settlement cash and liked many things about my 2014. However it was plagued by a electrical issue that the dealer just couldn't resolve. They made me a VERY attractive offer on the trade (considering we were both frustrated with...
