I don’t disagree but I’m left asking the question is it reasonable to assume fuel costs can remain low in the US relative to the rest of the world? Looking at the growth in world demand alone makes me believe the answer is no.- duc1100

I suspect modern motors with anti-knock electronics stop engine knocking so the lower octane affects performance which may reduce MPG but that’s probably more than offset by the lower cost. I did see the post regarding engine buildup but I’m inclined to roll the dice and save at the pump.- duc1100

The real consequence of driving without insurance
As others have posted, probably not likely the other driver has any assets of value. People with assets have insurance to protect those assets. I like the post comparing uninsured motorists to the equivalent of homeless motorists. I suspect if you sue, you might as well add the lawyer fees...- duc1100

Word of advice... Never few up your tank pass the 1st click!
I'm not sure all fuel pumps are the same. Not sure if I'm missing something but in CA it seems the extra hose shroud thing can cause the pump to click off well before the tank is close to full. Sometimes I have to fill the tank at a slower rate to keep the hose from clicking off early. I'm... -

Left is out of the truck (dark red) and right is the new (purple). I'm aware of the OAT vs HOAT gel issue but suspect this isn't the case. Just curious if other see this. Maybe a "common antifreeze" added to cause the purple OAT Mopar to go red. Do need to assess the need to flush. Not sure...- duc1100

Dark Red Coolant
The coolant in my 2018 1500 is a dark red. It's got 33k miles and I'm the second owner. The new Mopar I purchased to add to the reservoir is the expected purple. I'm wondering the dark red is due to age or a non-Mopar MS-12106 being added. Any ideas?- duc1100
