4” lift w/ Bilsteins bottoming out.

So it looks like I have about 3/4 inch of rake, maybe just a hair more with 2” lift springs in the rear. So i’m going to bump it up to the 3rd notch and call it a day. It’s definitely a softer ride from having them maxed out. So probably just normal and not used to it since i’ve had it leveled...

So just checked and the bumpstop is as far up as it can go, it’s resting against the upper strut mount. So i guess that’s all the room for up travel it has ,shown in the pictures. I’m no suspension expert but something is definitely not right. Worn out coil spring? definitely something.

Yep, i can see i didn’t align it back, but do you think that would really affect it? But yeah, pretty sure that’s just the upper spring seat.

Here’s a photo from another angle. So i never had a preload spacer on it before. All i did was disassemble the shock to put on new strut mount and drop it down to the second notch. I hope I’m not missing something your pointing out.

Yes, still running the stock springs. The only other person I found with the same problem is some guy on a Tacoma forum. Same kind of lift(drop bracket) using bilsteins on 1st notch. Think he changed out his coil spring for a stiffer one.

That’s the upper coil spring seat. The only spacer is the top 4 inch spacer.

4” lift w/ Bilsteins bottoming out.

Hello!! So i recently installed a Superlift 4 inch lift on a 2013 ram. Previously had truck leveled with Bilstein 5100 maxed out. Still using same shocks, I just dropped them to the 2 notch, .7 of lift. Well now the problem is that I am bottoming out onto the foam bumpstop super easy. Any...
