Ok I have a RA3 from a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited that was running fine in the Jeep and I install it in my 2016 Ram and it will just continue to boot up and after being on for about 60 seconds or so it reboots again. The radio is running the odd Jeep only software version of 14.32.3 Which...
So trying to add the microphones to my truck and I wired them all the way from the headliner down but when I get to the back of my radio I already have the ports 29/30 and 39/40 already populated but they don’t show up in the green i370 plug on the driver side. Any clue where these wires might...
That is exactly what I did and I just pulled the old handles and found the two magnets in the old bases!! Looks like I will be pulling my doors apart to resolve the issue. Thanks for the help on this! I am including a couple pictures of where the magnets are located.
I swapped the entire door handle on mine and didn’t have any wires on the old handles? Where did you find the missing magnet on the new handle or the old? I will have to take my handles apart and look at them now. I had kind of given up on getting them To work.
Yes it is enabled in the radio. I used a twisted 22AWG wire thru the cab and into the door plugs. And on all the way up to the factory door wiring harness that runs from the handle up to the inside panel..
The codes are B25A9 and B25AA saying last test completed Positively Error intermittent. First one is for drivers door and the second is for the passenger. I cleared the codes. Did a rf hub reset via Alfaobd and also disconnected the battery for about 10 minutes to do a battery reset on the...
The actual part number that I used in my truck for this is 68142923ab. It has the same end on both ends. The adapter is the same as the end on the actual door handle. I found two used ones on eBay and just used those. I was able to plug it into the door handles they way they should have been and...
I did a hub reset and the handles work for again a couple minutes just like after doing a battery reset. Did the handle verification test and they failed even after I reset the hub but they work when locking and unlocking the doors. I did clear the two codes that reference each front door...
I have added all the Keyless entry and push button start into my 2016 Ram 4500 and have gotten everything to work, but my door handles will work for only about 5 minutes after I hook the batteries back up. I have Two keys programmed to a new RF hub and like I said everything works, but then my...

Does anyone know if a 2016 Ram cab chassis 4500/5500 trucks us the same pins 5&6 of the the connector under the PDC like the 2500/3500’s use for the hood latch?
The red arrow is pointing towards the actual swing that will catch on the nub that is circled in blue in the event of a sudden quick movement of the seat. In a normal operations when you are moving the seat up or down the floating part in the middle(red arrows in both pictures) will hang flat...
Thanks guys I will see about ordering the cable for the Heated seats and probably just leave the side airbags alone.. I started out with just doing an upgrade to the stereo in this truck to an 8.4 and things have gotten a little carried away.. lol. Instead of building the wiring harness for this...
I have a 40/60 split bench in the back of my truck and had the same issue for a while just on one side. I found that there is a sort of spring loaded catch in the actual seat hinge that I am assuming will keep the seat from flipping closed or open in the event of an accident. But I had found...
I am the proud owner of a new 2016 Ram 4500 Tradesmen Crew cab that I am in the process of doing several upgrades thanks to this amazing forum. But I have stumbled into something that is making my head spin.. 4500/5500’s are a little tricky when it comes to the wiring.. Ie added VSIM modules and...
