Aluminum wheels definitely need to be retorqued. Steels don't seem to loosen as much as alum.
I had just put my summer aluminum on and about a month earlier and retorqued, but I could hear a rumble when coasting and went away on throttle or brakes. Brought to the dealership as I was under wty...
I put that cam kit In my 2011 laramie. Love it.
Also using hellcat pump.
My kit was missing a spring on a valve stem deal and a retainer for the springs. Comp sent me a stem seal and ghosted me on the retainer.
Still playing with the Tune but likely to have Chris at player3 in Edmonton...
Sorry. Have not replace the alternator yet. She must be shorted same as OP. My batt is dead I put a charger on it and my alternator starts buzzing and getting warm. My battery light has been coming on for the last week. Replacement alternator will be in on Monday and I can get this thing running.
Ive purchased a master kit and found one of the valve seals missing the spring and im also missing a spring retainer. Its extremely frustrating. I spent $2000 on this kit and now ive got to wait for them to send me the missing pieces. Anyone else have problems with their kits?

There are a lot of posts mentioning hp...
Putting a cam (comp cam) in my 2011 1500 laramie. I am looking to see if anyone has done this and did their own tuning or a list of contacts who could help with the Tune. I don't have access to a Dyno. Is this going to be an issue? I have done a 5.7 cam and lifters before on a different truck...
A little history. Truck came in - no tick but a shudder at low rpm CEL on misfore cyl1. Did the usual plug and coil swap and dtc didn't follow. Removed valve cover and found intake rocker barely moving. Needs cam and lifters.
Replaced cam and lifters. Did oil pump and timing components as...
Unplug the idle air control solenoid and see if it runs. Plug it back In while running and it should be ok. Not sure why. I have a 2002 at work and we have to do this every month or two. I've changed the solenoid and the replacement does the same thing.
I replaced the throttlebody with a 90mm one. New set of injectors and still hesitating. Replaced map sensor and so far so good. Part was $12CAD @ Rockauto.
I have a 2011 with this issue. Ive bought a new throttlebody and a set of injectors. If that doesnt fix it im ready to figure it out whether its a new cam and lifters, New heads. Whatever it takes. I like my truck im not intetested in parting with it.
