    The oil that touches the sides has passed through the filter medium. And that oil is moving. Better to put the magnets on the oil pan and remove them before changing the oil.

    Agree. There is a whole science around how to test products. Project Farm is an average Joe doing testing that might not lead to valid conclutions. One major thing is testing to failure/breakage. Dumb. You test for practical application. Most products should be pass/fail, not broke at X...
