    Your other vehicle

I'd hate to be looking for a car now, the whole 'supply chain issues' is getting really tiresome for everyone involved I'd imagine. I wouldn't expect used subaru to drop really anytime soon either, I sold mine just before the used market for cars really kicked off, but I sold my 7 year old ~70k...

    Your other vehicle

I made a document a while ago for this kind of cost-comparison https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Bs3-vg4by60UXXed2cIDXJd4VEqnEquzvld3huS-LuA/copy For the record, I had a Subaru outback before the ram (back when the outback was the equivalent of the forester of today), it was the perfect...

Oil Pressure and Trans Temp Question on new truck

Yeah so far my transmission chills at about 185. In summertime it's pops up to 190 or so on the highway, it has been up to 205 when towing in summer when it was near 100 out I think.

    Seattle to Portland - 16.6mpg

Ethanol free? Tailwind? Did you also double check with the pump? At least from my experience the computer isn't quite accurate. it's always been off by 2-3mpg

Oil Pressure and Trans Temp Question on new truck

Relating to the trans temp, my thoughts are the new transmission is likely aiming to be in that 'sweet spot' where temperatures create the highest efficiency. Too high and it degrades the fluid, too low and it will be less efficient ultimately causing lower mpgs.

    Seattle to Portland - 16.6mpg

I just made a similar trip to go pickup a utility trailer, but I run on 101 for a healthy chunk of miles, I have near 7500 miles on, AT offroad pakage 3.92 trans. On the way in, according to the computer during the 50-60mph highway, I got an average of 19mpg. Once I hit the interstate it...

How do you permanently turn down the "new text message from..."

I noticed this, the volume for notifications can be set when that notification sound is active After playing around with it for a while, I figured its not just the phones 'new text notification' to which any phone setting doesn't matter because its the software within Uconnect itself that is...

Are all dealers overfilling engine oil?

Trusted needing to be the key word there, I brought my old car to a local mechanic to have oil change. Instead of an OEM oil filter they put in a Napa, and/or they put in non-synthetic in a engine that's needs synthetic. I don't know but either case after I brought it from that oil change the...

"What DON'T you like about your 5th Gen RAM"?

Two things I found I don't like; First the oil filter placement... Next the SOS button placements on roof light console, I just went into the truck in the dark a little while ago and pressed that sos button instead of the light button. Would be nice if the thing would glow all the time, or at...

    Extended Warranty

My 2021 Rebel is Averaging 12 mpg in local....Is that normal

If it's anything like my old car the range estimates to empty is based on the last like 50 miles of driving not on highway miles, so when I take a drive into town my estimate usually goes up over the hundred miles, ie I start out with a 300 mi range estimates and end at 400 mi after driving 100...

    Disappointing Incentives

This is exactly why I was afraid of ordering because 3 months from now whenever it gets delivered I bet they would not only remove incentives, but also crank up msrp just because. Thats how my luck typically runs

    Good deal?

I'm with Doug, i never did like the idea of leasing, always like to own my stuff at the end of the day. and my truck's only a week and a half old and I've already got scratches in the bed. not worried about it since I'm going to be putting in bedliner as soon as it warms up anyway but still...

    Good deal?

Thanks for the info all, So I worked the numbers and decided to go for it I had actually went to several other dealerships looking at slightly different deals but they couldn't or wouldn't drop them down to the level that I was looking for. In so doing however I managed to make them nervous...

    Good deal?

Yeah they are pretty nice trucks, my dad my uncle and my cousin all have one. So that might be because my uncle actually works at a mechanic shop for chrisler What I worry about for ordering mostly is that losing out on the incentives and possibly APR might mean a difference of maybe four to 10...

    Good deal?

Good tip, hopefully being remote will be able to give easier leverage against them Sorry I should have specified, it's a 2021 Yeah the listed sales like $5,800 off of course always look great on the surface but have limitations so a few of them don't apply.
