That called belt line trim. I replaced them on my 06, the trim on my 13 still looks pretty decent though, but the roof seam trim needs replacing. I'm in FL. We get that alot here, especially on the coast.
Brake fluid is the most overlooked maintenance item by the general public. Heck, you're lucky to see half of car owners ever change their engine oil...
About 5 years ago I replaced two front calipers and the brake lines in my used 06 Ram 3500 that was a FL truck but hauled weight constantly...
You are guilded then, I can't tell you how many calipers or wheel cylinders I've repaired or replaced over the last 45 years from internal corrosion. Please read the previous comments on how the water get into "sealed" systems.
I had the unique pleasure of modding mine twice. 1st was the OE blower unit, 2nd was the 2015 dual zone plenum and blower unit I installed last year. Wished I found a plenum from a 2016 ( built after Jan 16) and up model now.

Looks fantastic sir, very classy.

I think I saw another thread you've started regarding fluid changes.
Good to see the background story. Very sorry for your families loss, but happy to see your keeping your dad's truck. You should get many memories in his legacy ride.
That fact that my gen4 tailgate feels like it's half the mass of my gen 1, 2, or 3 tailgates is like having a spring on the thing. Hell, it might be lighter than my Gen1 and 2 Dakota tailgates too.
I bought the piston assist for my Gen4 18 months ago. Did the interior mods and never got around...
I've never caught onto naming my bikes... 25+ and counting. Lol
Here's my last one and a few others I've had over the last 35 years. Most fun bike was a $200.00 Honda CM400 that I put 20k miles on. Couldn't get past the fact that it was bang for the buck the ugliest yet cheapest form or...
If I were in the market, I'd give the '23 and '24 models a good look after next year. Keep yours for a spell and revisit this after the I6 has been out for a year.
