From a person that works at an oil change place and has seen quite a bit in this aspect, yes synthetics are very beneficial and would run it or at least synthetic blends. I do however think royal purple is a little much, very pricey and is mainly designed for vehicles running at high rpms for...
That's sweet man! Loving the 2 tone as well, gunna start primering mine probably this week, and was thinking of going with a 2 tone when I get ready for paint. I was thinking rams new electric pearl blue with Berliner on the bottom part what yall think?
I run 37's Stock(: only the back though): and i know my trucks a little older but even with my 4.10 gears my mpg took a hit/: but sure makes the off roading more fun(: this is why i have 2 trucks, one for mpg and one for mud and looking sexy.
Well you can put a o2 sensor in anyways, just get you a new one. Find where it plugs in then you can have a muffler shop weld you up a place for the new one.
I'm not at the house now but I can check mine when I get back if no one else can tell you. Cause mines an 88. Do you have tilt wheel? Cause mine doesn't and I don't know if they different
Those are some really cool trucks man! I love the older dodges, haven't got to taken mine off roading just yet. Just got it running good but can't find a good place to go/:
I like the fuel door! Ok and just make sure you get things extra tight on leveling kit, should look good! And when I say white bumper top I'm saying when you look at the front of your truck you've got the chrome bumper and its got the black plastic on the top, but you can get that piece in white...
A leveling kit would make it sit more like a 4x4, which is what you are going for. Only thing to watch out for on that type of leveling kit is that its just a spacer which can be dangerous if not put on right, never used one but with my little bit of mechanics background I would go with taller...
Really that it? That's awesome! And truck looks pretty good to me only thing I would suggest would be to get the white bumper top instead of the black one. And does it have fog lights?
Yea I'm with manutea, if you want to lift it then do it. Just cause its 2wd don't mean nothing. Set up right a 2wd can look just as good. And I am really liking those lights behind.grille! What kinda lights you use? I wanna do something like this to my first gen!
Yea we charge 70/hr on mech labor. Dealerships are worse, they quoted me 660 to replace a hub assembly on my truck and I did it for the 160 on the part and 30mins of time and this was before I knew anything about mechanics.
