2013, ram power steering. Board rebuild??

Anybody ever repair a board for their power steering. Took the cover plate off , no signs of corrosion. Board has power and belt on motor is good. Computer says board is the problem. But it looks new. Best price so far was 1400 bucks for the rack, with no guarentees it will work. If it does...

    Passenger Output shaft repair

Yes I know. My neighbour had the problem about 3-4 years ago and I told him to order it from there. Which he did. At the time it was 750 bucks. Napa has them now for 100 bucks ‍♂️. Mine just never gave out so I kept driving it. This kit was 300 for everything you see in the box.

    Passenger Output shaft repair

Here it goes. Driving with a worn front output shaft now for about 6 years now. Finically found a kit, came with everything needed. Bought two new cv axles as well. See how it goes I guess. Shouldn’t be to bad.

    Tipm, connector corrosion

Starting to happen again. Last fall for the first time in a few years I’m using the truck as a daily driver. Over the years the wheel liner was in hard shape so I just completely cut off part of the front side not thinking anything of it. When I popped my hood tonight. The engine bay was full of...

    Tipm, connector corrosion

Yes I never even asked around for somebody to quote it lol. Wasn’t worth the phone call. Most shops would’ve told me I needed a new Tipm. Would’ve bought that and replaced it then still have the same issues. It’s a headache but I believe in figuring these things out then it’s easier the next...

    Tipm, connector corrosion

I’ve tried every salvage yard I could find. I had no luck. I found one Tipm on eBay with the connectors still on the bottom. They just cut the harness and removed the box. Canadian dollar gone to shit, plus border fees. The $299 American came to $600+ Canadian lol. I will keep looking because I...

    Tipm, connector corrosion

Yes but for most it’s probably to late. I have it fixed for now I think. All my accessories inside are back on with power. Spliced the pins with wires into my harness. Soldered and heat shrink.

    Tipm, connector corrosion

Jeep walker, I have been removing the pins with a small Allen key I have flattened out, works good. As for repairing the pins, lol, I removed a pin with the wire already broken, it was actually disintegrated. As in nothing left. Full of white corrosion. The tabs that pinch the wire weren’t even...

    Tipm, connector corrosion

Hey guys, with all the links posted in the past still can’t seem to find any detailed info. I have Tipm issues. Tipm seems to be in good shape. Some corrosion on the green plug side tho. When removing noticed wires broken. Now I have three altogether broken. Every time I touch the thjng I’m...

Will it fit? I’m trying anyways lol

They fit, no zip ties necessary. I did however trim the top of my mudflap on the inside. They just touch sometimes when you turn hard. I was afraid of in reverse I’d rip the mud flap off lol. I’ll post pictures the next nice day we have

Will it fit? I’m trying anyways lol

Old 315/70 r17s are worn and basically threadless. Picked these up the other day for 1000 bucks. I wanted to go back to 20” rims and the tires I might take off anyways but not before trying them out. Theyre bud Goodrich mud terrains 325/60R20s which Meade 35” exact on the tape as they stand...

    3.92 spider gears help

I just had mine opened up. (13’ ram sport w3.92) the Crosspin wasn’t as sloppy as that. It was a perfect fit. Also I assume you have that keeper bolt in the pin removed for the video.

    3.92 backlash

thanks for your input. What your saying makes sense. “If it’s not broke don’t fix it”

    3.92 backlash

I only removed the side shafts. Never touched anything regards to the carrier or bearings. I don’t think that would change anything.

    3.92 backlash

Hey guys, recently discovered I had a rear seal leak. So instead of just doing the seals I did the outer bearings And seals also all the handbrake hardware, backing plates, rotors, etc. Crown gear looked fine to me but just for curiosity I checked the backlash in a few spots. I was getting...

    BBK header quality

Yes man. The winter is brutal on vehicles here. Either way a bad winter is no excuse for the bbk headers. I got 4-5 years out of my stock manifolds. The only reason I replaced them is because the studs broke off. They didn’t have rust holes. All in all, IMO listen to the rest of the forums about...
