    Speedometer pegged the wrong way.

    Actually I found a video that shows how to reset gauges: with the ignition off, press and hold the odometer reset button, then turn the key one stop. All the needles swing over and then return to the left in stages. Worked pretty slick!

    I have an 06 5.7 hemi with a 545RFE tranny. It is very sluggish to kickdown when I depress the accelerator. When I depress enough to kick it in it kicks down too far, neck snapping. Anyone know where to start diagnosing? Is it vacuum operated?

    Lol: oil sludge can be an issue, OEM valve seats can fail and drop into the chamber, exhaust manifold/gasket failures, lifter failures—I’ve gotten lucky thank God!

    Still original tranny, do my own fluid changes on it and transfer case. Just recently on steep mountain trails the tranny smells hot so will rebuild that or upgrade. I love this truck and will be getting a company car so want to rebuild/improve it for hunting and fishing.
