    Correct Transfer case fluid?

Nice pics. What I can't make any sense of is that if its in fact a model Bw 44-46 tc then why does the owners Manuel call for Bw 44-44 oil? Any ideas or proof on that one because I just want to be more sure in getting the right stuff and not just what a parts tech told me.

    Correct Transfer case fluid?

Well I've got a good one too throw into the mix of things. Ive Been looking for bw 44-44 because that's what my Manuel says to use on our 2020 ram 3500 hohd. So after doing all my online research I found the part number ( 68089195aa) for the mopar , bw44-44 so I type that in and find...

Why Is My Remote Start Not Activating Heated Seats/ Steering Wheel?

Following Im in n. Arizona and mine only works on a cool morning maybe 20% of the time. When I say cool, its not really bad but I'm assuming anything below 50* would kick on the preset warming functions with auto start.

There wasn't any metal in my hpfp when they swapped it out, how was yours?

Is Hot Shot's Secret Stiction Eliminator Oil Additive a Good Product?

Back when my 20 ram had the cp4 glitter bomb I used hot shot lx4 for 2 years and it worked great for us and did what it was supposed to do. So all though it wasn't an oil additive I can speak to my experience with hot shot and there product and I highly endorse them.

    CTD Flaw: Heater Grid Bolt

We're In N Arizona and our delayed start count down for the grid heater still comes on every morning this time of year, i believe it comes on anytime it's below 60 * outside. Yah know the old wait to start for glow plugs light:p

    CTD Flaw: Heater Grid Bolt

So I said early on that eventually we'll switch our intake out for a banks with no grid bolt at some point, but in no hurry. I'm not a worry wart or a sucker that buys into every conspiracy theory, I'm also willing to 100% agree that this is not a big percentage of a problem to be overly...

    Looking at buying a 3500 opinions/experiences please!

Do you tow any heavy trailers? How heavy of a trailer do you tow? How often do you tow the trailer? Does the truck your looking at have the rfe or aisin trans?

Rookie towing question. Weigh station requirements.

I drove commercial for 3 decades , retired now and let my cdl go because we're SD residents and SD law does not require any special license based on weight for rvers. We have been full time rvers for 8 yrs now, we've been N-S & E-W and everywhere in between multiple times. Our gcw of truck...

I couldn't agree any more with this part of your response above, they need to be run and worked more often then 4-6× a year Also where you wrote "I did the math in a post somewhere else, but even despite the higher cost of fuel, I'm going a LOT further so my price per mile is MUCH lower with...

What about the massive amount of different threads on the cp4 glitter time bomb and also what fuel additives are people using to enhance the lubricity in the fuel. I know it's been recalled and newer models don't cone with it anymore but that's probably been the number topic for 3 years

That right there explains our difference, our trailer is much heavier, I drive 75mph, aisin tranny, 410 rear end. Your rfe and 343 make a big difference in fuel, my older diesel ram had the rfe & 343, I could get up 21 mpg without a 13k trailer and 12 with . On my current 3500 I'm lucky to...

Couple things, I meant to say 2400 pl not pin, i was never over weight and we were always well under the tow rating and just under pl rating. Nobody is recommending to over load anything but these trucks are perfectly capable of doing what there rated up to. We all know they can do more...

I don't know how heavy your excavator is that your still getting 15mpg, the best i can do pulling our trailer is 8-9mpg, sometimes as low as 7 and that's all highway miles. Work horses is exactly what they were meant to do to keep a good operating regen system.

You must be talking about being equipped with the rfe to get 21mpg, because my 6.7 w/aisin only averages about 14 at best ( city / hwy combined) when not towing. hauling 4-6× yr a13k trailer and a 3500 diesel seems like a waste of a truck to me. Of coarse its gonna haul the trailer better...

We used our 2016 2500 ram diesel with only the rfe pulling a 13k trailer all over the u.s. twice over 4 years and had zero issues . Plus it even sat level at 2400lbs pin weight with no help from any air bags.

Don't get me wrong I love our Cummins and wouldn't trade it for any other , but the only reason we wanted a diesel is that I haul heavy. If we were hauling anything less then a 20k trailer then I'd get a gasser because its better fuel mileage and fuel price and you never need to worry about...
