    Yes, I do the same, but that's what is confusing. I hold the brake pedal the entire time. However sometimes it starts when the preheat is done, but sometimes it pops up a message telling me to step on the brake and push start. Not sure why the difference. Perhaps I'm not pushing the brake pedal...

    Do you have a 21? If not, I wonder if they're different. See the pic below for how mine is. You can the "tab" going under the shutter system bracket. Removing that bracket didn't look like an option given the amount of disassembly that would have required.

    Can power fold mirrors be auto folded?

    Well, bummer. Seems like an obviously valuable feature with mirrors that protrude that far out. I had to fold them in to get past them after backing into a spot next to another car yesterday. That's what got me asking... Oh well.
