I agree, their customer service is absulute garbage. At this point I am just happy to have everything working and am just going to leave well enough alone... and a bad review.
I owe @chrisbh17 and @Roman217 a HUGE thanks. As well as everyone else that offered up some advice on this. Chris and Roman worked up a module for me and send it out about a week ago. After some minor trouble shooting everything is good. It all works just as it should.
There is no setting screen for the upfitter switches on the radio screen, just in the dash.
I have a feeling you are correct but I figure if there is someone fairly local I could swap with for a minute just to see how it acts, that would help eliminate the radio being this issue all together...
I will have to check it out. Both of the units I have gotten from infotainment have failed to control the heated seats in my truck. Working on fixes but nothing yet.
Anyone in Virginia have one they would be willing to try my radio in just to help isolate if it is the radio or maybe my BCM. Log...
Is there an option for a downloadable progam I could get to be able to log and see the info. As far as CAN commands, it will allow me to create my own basically anything that I want. It is powerful enough to unlock and tune the ECU and has all kinds of warnings when trying to create a CAN...
After looking at the program it is not able to log CAN specific information as best I can tell. Just things like line pressures and things like that for tuning. I know I can send CAN commands thriough the app. It is called AutoAgent and connects to my Ez-Lynk tuner.
Awesome. I will need any tutorials you might be able to provide as well as I am competely novice at this kind of stuff. I do have the ability to send CAN commands through my tuner (EZ-Lynk) if that is a possibility or easier. I ahave also attached some screen shots so we are on the same page.
Yeah sorry I mentioned it in the previous post but called it the wiring harness. I have been in touch with Infotainment (or at least trying to) for the logest time. In fact they never got back to me for the promised RMA and refund for the 4C Interface they promised so I still have it. They have...
I know there were a couple of people on here asking about progress with my 2016 2500 UAQ swap. I have tried two seperate radios (both from infotainment.com), replaced the Heated Seat Module to latest revision, tried everything I can with AlfaOBD, ordered the wiring harness infotainment sells for...
Some new symptoms with my truck happened this weekend after some testing. I disabled the HSM and let the truck sleep for a bit. Restarted and the soft buttons for seat control were still present but seats and steering wheel did not heat based on ambient temperature. I re-enabled the HSM and let...
I installed the new HSM, 68217268AF. Still no heated seat control. Buttons still greyed out. I am thinking this has to be something with the head unit they are sending or software on it as I have replaced nearly every component trying to get this working. Frustrating to say the least.
Thanks, I looked up both part numbers. Yours is a later revision and it looks like my part number is only used in the 2016 Ram from what I can see, but your was used in multiple years. 68217268AF is the latest revision that says it is compatible so I am going to try that I guess. Found it for...
It is more help than you would think. At least I know at this point that I am not missing something obvious. Mine is a Laramie is also deleted. I have been playing the the tune on it to see if there are any changes it makes to the BCM but haven't been able to see anything. Is your HSM the same...
After numerous attempts to correct the issue with my heated seat controls being greyed out, I am at an end. I could not fix it and have run out of options that I can see. I have tried all the configuration changes and options in AlphaOBD, received a new UAQ head unit, and even went as far as...
I am in the same situation with my 2016, although I have not changed out the heated seat module. None of the AlphaOBD options fixed it for me either. I am pretty sure you need the 4C interface module from infotainment.com. I have one coming as well to fix my 2016 but it is a requirement for 2014...
Awesome, thanks. I have a OBD2 module coming for AlphaOBD so I can poke around in there and see if anything that looks out of wack. Infotainment finally got back to me again after I elevated the issue and they said they have never seen this issue before and have no solution. They offered a $75...
P/N: 68217268AD. The heated seats work fine with my factory radio, they even come on when temp is low on UAQ. Soft buttons show that they are on with UAQ radio but there is no control. The buttons are greyed out.
