Plastic bag cost me $650
Had that happen to me several years ago. Luckily what I was driving was not mine--it was my employer's vehicle. From then on, if I see a plastic bag go under the vehicle I watch in the rearview to see if it comes out. If it doesn't, I check that pinion area the next time I stop.- 13Goat

Driving 2500 with 6 lugs
Any tire shop worthy of being called one will/would correct that error without having to raise a stink. But for the ones who try to slip it by as being a problem for the customer to correct--refuse to move the vehicle until they correct their screw-up. Usually if you threaten to lawyer-up...- 13Goat

Truck won't start...
Well, as Paul Harvey used to say, this is the rest of the story: On the no-start issue I was having, I finally got the truck to start after bumping the start button about 15 times; drove it directly to a diesel shop that I use for service (they have some of the most competent techs around)...- 13Goat

How to improve fuel economy on Cummins 24 valve

Hate to sound totally ignorant, but: are the door actuators vacuum operated or electric? Being that the truck is a diesel and I am hard of hearing, I'm hoping that I can just turn the key to "On" and check the door actuation that way. Had not considered the blend door issue. I will have to give that a look-see. Guessing that to correct the blend door problem would entail tearing out the whole dash to get to the actuators?- 13Goat
