I have always turned off the fridge. It doesn't take long to cool off again.
Then new style fridges are only 12v, and use solar panels to keep the power even when traveling. Pretty slick.
I have the airlift 1000hd bags in my 2018 1500 CC with a hemi. I use the WDH also when I tow my 6000 lb travel trailer and it is a great system. Fully loaded for short trips I'm probably hitting 8000 lb with water and everything. When I go on longer trips I slim down and run with empty tanks...
You have to see what is actually leaking. The airlines are probably fine, but the connectors have a bad rep for rusting and failing. I have the same bags, and will be replacing the connectors in spring with something more robust.
My Rodents of Unusual Size are small and chewed stuff in my old van every year. But they didn't remove anything just destroyed it lol. I like the reference.
Yeah I had to replace a tire that was only a year old. Had dry rot and a small bulge. My plans this winter are to replace the rest of them. The stock tires are garbage.
I did exactly that, and the ambient glow is now perfect. The light was getting lost up inside the dark parts of the camper. I got wide sticky foil for ductwork, and it's perfect. Very sticky and really helps the glow factor. Thank you!
To get mine in I jacked up the truck and removed the rear tires, letting the axle hang down freely. If you can safely do that with the camper on top, that's up to you lol. I used jack stands under the receiver hitch to hold it. I love the result, they work great. I have the airlift inside the...
Rockwood Mini-Lite 2304 was my favorite camper for this purpose. We removed the dinette seating bench nearest the door and it opened up the floor plan.
I tow a 26 ft travel trailer. Never had "trouble" with the 3.21s. my biggest difficulty was setting up the suspension for heavier towing. I'm getting close to the max trailer weight and tongue weight but not over. I added airbags and learned how to properly set up my WD hitch. No issues now.
I...
My slideout is kind of between the two on mine, not sure if there's room or not to join them. I will just leave it as is.
My biggest source of annoyance was that on the rear dump, the black and grey labels were switched. Someone had one job...
Yeah that's how mine is too, one gray in front and both in back. I thought about a setup like that but the kitchen doesn't fill up very fast. If we ever plan a week in one spot I will probably get that. Thanks!
Yeah the pricing is crazy but they have come down. I've known about them for years and always wanted one. Couldn't help it, and I love it.
I tried to post a video but it was too large.
Woo hoo!
Finally made time to get these installed. I love the lights. I put them on top of the lower I beam ledge. So my positioning actually makes them much dimmer than I expected. The skirting really blocks the ambient light. So I'm wondering if I should have put them somewhere else. I will...
