    Fuel Gage

I think it's typical on most, extra conservative by the manufacturer. So far on my Ram the low fuel light has not come on but I've been able to put 27.5 gallons in a 33 gallon tank just below quarter tank and 130 DTE, which is very close at my current mpg's of 21.5. My Tundra's 38 gallon...

    WELL HOW ABOUT THAT

Given brand loyalty of truck buyers, and how many won't switch brands to save their lives, 148K in a quarter for Ram is huge.

    Woodgrain polishing/cleaning?

That's awesome! So the black and gray trim in my limited plastic or wood? It sure seems like plastic.

    Used truck prices up

That Tundra is worth all the money now and will still have great value over 100k miles. That's the great thing about Tundra's, you will always get top dollar, always. I just traded my 2016 Tundra with 80k miles, I was offered 31000 at a ford dealer and settled on 30000 at the Ram dealer. I...

    87 or 89 octane

LOL! easy to do, sometimes our typed words get misconstrued. I'll try to be more easily understood in my future posts, but sometimes what I'm trying to say gets interpreted differently regardless. HAHA............. peace out :driver:

    87 or 89 octane

I wasn't meaning with just a hemi that you may want to do more than called for, I understand why some here use extra caution and pay particular attention to the Hemi's known failure point. There are others that exceed recommendations for reasons other than the lifters or cam issues as well. I...

    87 or 89 octane

I was wrong, page 469 of my manual states problems occurring from using more than E-15 affects warranty, sorry my bad lol! The picture you posted recommending regular unleaded is from a dealer, not FCA. My manual states on page 469 the following: 5.7L Engine 89 "this engine is designed to...

    87 or 89 octane

ECU may need to adjust, go back to the fuel before the non-ethanol, it will probably clear up on it's own. My owners manual say's 89, 87 in a pinch only when 89 isn't available and you lose the engine warranty running 87 consistently.

Why do I like my 50 gallon gas tank?

Why would you need to restart the pump? Am I missing something, I can put 30 gallons in the truck then move it forward and put 35 more gallons into the bass boat. I consider it a safety item, running low on fuel in rural country towing isn't a convenience for me.

    Upgraded!

    Very cool, enjoy it!

Why do I like my 50 gallon gas tank?

I like the range also and when I filled up last week my range said the exact same number 660 to empty! Only thing is my tank is only 33 gallons!!! lol! I'm down to half a tank right now and my range is still at 346 to empty! Love it.

What DON'T you like about your RAM?

That I like mine so much after 1500 miles I want to order a Rebel for backup.............. :driver:

Who has experience with the 4Runner?

A few extra grand over a 4 or 5 year note .................insignificant in the grand scheme of things, but I hope it works out good regardless.

Who has experience with the 4Runner?

They are bulletproof and still made in japan. No recalls that plaque the US made models. I had a 2015 trail model drove it for 2 years 38k miles never a problem, but it rides like a body on frame truck vs some of the crossovers, but it does make a great off road vehicle. Towed my 4100 pound...

What did you drive before your Ram?

Tundra, like you it was a great truck but this ram is another level for sure in driving fun and style!

Current Chevy owner but like the Ram. Convince me :)

All brands have Quality issues, none of them are immune to sourcing bad parts with inherent design problems. Some may deal with them better than others but it's usually the dealership that makes or breaks it for you. IMO. Buy the truck you like most, take care of it and keep your fingers...

List up the vehicles you've owned over the years

I'll bite: 1970 Honda CB450, drove till I was 17 to avoid driver ed class. 1969 Dodge Charge R/T, paid 700, totaled twice, put 5k into it in 2 years sold for 250. Too much car for a 17 year old kid. 1969 Chevelle SS 396 4 speed, paid 350, needed another car as charger was always in the body...

What is the Best bang for the buck on tires. 275/60/20

The truck has the OEM Bridgestone's, I'll swap them over to Michelin Defender LTX at 10k service. Good fuel economy, nice ride and 60k pls service miles. I put them on every truck I own, even the wifes Rav4 runs them.

Current Chevy owner but like the Ram. Convince me :)

The no-brainer thing got me, Foolishly I test drove the nicest Ram on the lot and after that I couldn't look at anything else, I could not talk myself out of buying it, so I bought it. Nicest truck I've ever driven and I've had all of them over the years. I traded a very nice Tundra crew cab...
