@68PowerWagon . Mine came on about 2 weeks ago. I had already bought the 2019 so I got my deposit back. I don't think the truck was there a week before it sold.
It made it from the railhead in Philadelphia to my location in just over a week.
So here is what they found. Apparently, the dealership that did the HPFP recall stripped the threads on a clamp and I lost all of my boost pressure. A $28 clamp.
OP here. I looked closely at the Anderson but after seeing a couple catastrophic failures I decided to go heavier. From what I understand Anderson addressed those issues but I can't get the image of a 16,000 lb 5er sliding forward into the cab.
Ram Roadside assistance picked up my truck and took it to the dealership early this morning. I have to say I was very impressed with the roadside assistance. They stayed in constant contact until my truck was picked up.
I'm new to the diesel but as soon as I felt the loss of power I checked all my gauges...no warning lights but when I got to the DPF gauge there was nothing indicated...no reading at all which I thought odd. Also the boost pressure wasn't registering anything on acceleration...
New to me 2019 3500 6.7 HO with 17,000 miles. Took a 2 hr trip down the interstate this morning truck ran beautifully. The return trip, about 1 hour into the drive I start climbing a long grade. I had the cruise set on 75 and all of a sudden I could feel the truck losing power and it downshifted...
@68PowerWagon I have totally given up now on the 2022. I am really liking the 2019 Bighorn I bought. I did have thoughts of trading the 2019 on my ordered truck when it came in but I think I will be back from Arizona next April before the truck gets here. With only 17,000 miles on the 2019, it...
From what I understand, Curt makes the 5th wheel hitches for Mopar. Does anyone know what model letter designation they are close to in the Curt line? A? Q? I have seen a few 30k Mopar hitches for sale on the local CL and Marketplace. I'm in the market for a good hitch but would like to save...
New to me 2019 Ram 3500 Dually with Selectable Tire Fill Alert. I was trying to adjust the pressure in my front tires today. I have the STFA enabled in the settings menu, setpoints 75 Front 65 Rears. When I got the truck home I noticed the fronts were wearing on the outside edges. The pressure...
@68PowerWagon You have been waiting longer than I have. I finally gave up and bought the 2019 above. I really wanted a new one but I am not playing this game anymore. If we ever get to the point again where trucks are actually in stock on dealers lots I'll buy new. Until then I'll enjoy my 2019.
Holy Hell! I thought PA was bad. I think a 1 ton in PA is about $300. Don't worry though PA gets us with one of the highest fuel tax in the country. Looking forward to getting down there. We were there in February scouting around. Stopped in Scottsdale to get a pair of Tecovas boots. We will be...
I have given up and just bought this 2019 Bighorn. Upgraded Katzin leather interior, Amp powered running boards, Trailer Tow technology, 16,000 miles. All recalls done including HPFP.
They said FCA would give them a strike against their allocation. I'm calling ******** on that. FCA can't deliver trucks to their selling dealers on time and they are going to turn around and penalize them?
I ordered Delomomico Red which I assumed was a standard color. I did tow my toy hauler from Syracuse NY to home with my 6.4 Hemi but wouldn't want to do it across the country.
I ran out of patience and bought this 2019 Bighorn 3500 with a Katzkin custom leather interior an AMP powered running...
Here's the problem. I am retiring and going to Arizona for the winter the end of September, I need the truck to pull the 5th wheel toy hauler we bought. My 2500 6.4 Hemi isn't enough truck. Even if they built the 2022 I have on order tomorrow, I highly doubt it would get here in time.
There just doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to their production. I ordered my 3500 March 18th and it has not been built yet. Looks like I am going to cancel the order and buy used
Thanks for the reply. I bought a used a Demco that mounts on the gooseneck ball to tow my toy hauler home after I bought it, it was only about 175 miles. My 6.4 Hemi 2500 got it home but it was straining.
While the Demco seems well built, I like the idea of the 4 point puck system, it just...
