    It does do the warm idle tick after a short trip to the store, just not as pronounced. One odd thing I've noticed that helps eliminate it sometimes is if I back in my driveway which is uphill from the road, it doesn't havee any tick when I crank it even after sitting over night.     Update: It's been two months and 1800 miles since I changed to the Redline oil and RP filter. About 500 miles after changing to Redline I also added the Lubegard. It still ticks for about 30 seconds on the first startup of the day and any subsequent startups after it's sit for an hour or so.

    Okay, thanks for the tips and I will keep ya posted as I get more miles on it or if anything changes. Update 4/14/21- 440 miles on the Redline 5w30 and still no change.

    I know I'm late to this thread but reporting anyway. I just changed my oil to Redline 5w30 and the RP 20-820 filter 2 days ago. My truck is a 2010 Ram (5.7L) I bought new and have had for over 11 years. It just turned 75k miles on the odometer. It's been a great truck with not much maintenance...
