    I have had the same mat in my past two trucks. They lay flat with no load, never had a problem. They weigh about 50 pounds.

    Yep, that is what it was. As I understand the dealer uses them to keep track of vehicles then tries to sell to customer. It not wanted they are left installed. Took mine out.

    Is that what I might have? There was a LoJack type device that I declined and was not charged for. Might have been preinstalled.

    In the past I had normally driven a pickup. A couple of years ago I got thr itch for a Jeep Wrangler. I bought a 2019 Jeep Unlimited and really enjoyed the vehicle for a couple of years. Anyhow, yesterday I traded my Wrangler in on a 2021 Ram. Life is good!

    I took delivery of a Ram Lone Star today. so far, I am extremely pleased with the vehicle. It’s the 5.7 hemi with 3.92 rear end. I would like to see a bit more internal storage. No storage under the rear seats. But the double glove box and console configuration is nice.

    Start/ stop system

    I took delivery of a 2021 Ram Lone Star with 5.7 hemi today. I was extremely pleased to learn that the truck does not have ESS. I hated it on two previous family vehicles, a 2019 Jeep Wrangler and a 2017 Chevy Traverse. The Chevy was the worst, there was no provision to turn it off.

    3.21 vs 3.92 Gear Ratio...will not be towing much.

    I’m retired and no longer drive a huge amount of miles each year. I purchased a 2021 Ram Lone Star and went with the 3.92 rear end. With my limited experience, this truck is fun to drive. City driving, hop on the entrance ramp and go. Again, I don’t drive enough to be overly concerned about mpg.

    I’ve been driving a Jeep that I really liked for the past few years but missed a truck. Took delivery of a 2021 Ram 1500 Quad Cab Lone Star this morning. I was happy to find that the 5.7 Hemi does not have ESS. I hope to contribute to the forum.
