Guide to Leveling & Wheel and Tire Sizing for 06+ 4wd Ram 1500's

Thanks! The wheels are 17”x8.5” and the tires are 35”x12.5”. No spacers needed. The tires sit fairly flush (a little poke) with the factory flares.

Guide to Leveling & Wheel and Tire Sizing for 06+ 4wd Ram 1500's

Not a problem! Thank you. I originally got the rack at cab height because I wanted to fit bikes in the bed with a tailgate pad. I recently purchased a hitch mounted rack and now wish I could lower the tent a bit.

Guide to Leveling & Wheel and Tire Sizing for 06+ 4wd Ram 1500's

Thanks! It’s approximately 6’6” from the floor to the top of the shark fin. I say approximately, because I do currently have a bed rack and rooftop tent on the truck and that causes the rear to sag slightly.

Bonneville Salt Flats. I didn’t drive on them. The sign says that they were closed because they were wet. I also didn’t want to wait multiple days to wash it all off the underside of the truck.

The Puget Sound area is absolutely beautiful. But yes, the wildfire smoke has been pretty terrible every summer for the past few years.

What did you do with your 4th Gen this week?

Installed my new bed rack yesterday. It’s the Freedom Rack from Overland Vehicle Systems. I liked the ability to adjust height depending on what I need to carry (e.g., rooftop tent, lumber, kayaks, etc.). Not too hard to install, but the included instructions are worse than instructions that...

What did you do with your 4th Gen this week?

Only for a few months on the Ram (because I’ve only had it a few months). The lower valence and grill on my wife’s 4Runner have been plastidipped for a few years now. If it chips, you can touch it up real quick.
