I can't decide if I want to keep or disable the amber/orange daytime running lights on my all black 2018 sport. What is people's opinion on them? Necessary, unnecessary?
Started up perfectly this morning. There’s obviously enough charge in the battery but when it sits for more than 3 days or so the battery drains. Has to be a bad battery.
Got it started this morning by jumping it. Let it run for a while. Drove it down to autozone and asked them to test the battery. Battery was 79% they said it was good and alternator was good. My question is, can’t the battery still be bad? I’ve been able to turn it off and start it right up.
Hemi here too. It was overheating and leaking, head gasket was done. Now just today I’m getting this issue, I’m thinking it is the starter that went now.
I have a 2018 ram 1500 hemi. I haven’t driven it for 3-4 days. Got in this morning to start it up and just got one single click. Radio and everything came on. I noticed the engine light blinking but I believe other ones were too.
Anyone else ever have this issue? I recently just had the head...
I haven’t heard from the dealership regarding what actually caused the bad gasket. Do you know if that’s something that can easily be diagnosed or is it a lot of guess work. If they just fix the gasket but not the issue that caused it then it’ll be the same thing over again.
Honestly, it sounded fine and ran fine up until about a week and half ago. Never had a clue anything was wrong. Then I got the first “engine is too hot” alert. I thought it was maybe cause I was parked idle for a while with the AC running. Didn’t get another alert until 5 or so days later. It...
Yeah, I’m just shocked that was the issue with it. Hopefully they can diagnose the actual cause of the head gasket going. If they can, I’ll most likely keep it.
I just purchased the truck in April 2021. Had just under 69,000 miles on it. It is a 2018 Ram 1500 sport. 5.7l Hemi.
The past couple weeks I have been getting an alert saying “engine is too hot” then it shuts off. I took it to the dealership yesterday and they said it’s a blown head gasket...
I have a 2018 Ram 1500. I didn't see this talked about anywhere else on here..
I was removing my puddle lights and putting in sequential replacements.
When I removed the plug-in from the passenger side connector one of the prongs remained in the connector and it is stuck in there. I can still...
Ahh I wonder if that’s the issue. I think the stock wheel is 17”. I have a 2018 1500 sport.
You can put them on without removing the wheel? Did not know that was possible. How were you able to do that?
I dropped a good amount of money on MGP covers. Took them to a shop to get them installed and they said all 4 were scraping and making noise.
Do I have the wrong size or is it something else with the caliper itself?
I'm not sure I'll be able to return them so if anyone is looking for 4 black...
Whenever I slowly release the brakes after coming to a complete stop or when going in reverse, I hear a sound coming from the back brakes.
I can't describe the sound exactly but it doesn't sound normal. It's kind of like a deep sounding rubbing. I wanted to see if anyone else has this issue?
I...
I was wondering if anyone has tinted the turn signals on the side mirrors. I have my whole truck pretty much blacked out except for those. Anyone know of a way to do this?
Thanks!
I was reading about the powder coating and saw some had issues with the heat. I am looking to upgrade, was hoping to get 4 or 5 inch. Unfortunately there aren’t a ton to choose from with stock 2.25 inlet.
Hi everyone,
I’m pretty new to the truck world. I recently purchased a 2018 1500 Sport(Night Edition). I have the 5.7L Hemi.
I wanted to remove the chrome tips and put on black. I have gotten several different answers from people on what size inlet to get. I talked to a guy at Carid who told...
