I've towed at 11k feet through the Eisenhower Tunnel here in Colorado and never felt like it was struggling. Sure it doesn't have the power as it does down in Denver but it doesn't struggle
New photos incoming!

Oh one more thing no need for a repair estimate from a shop take the one you get from the adjuster and take it to the shop to get scheduled in for the repairs. Once the truck is in for the repairs any additional repairs needed will be sent into the insurance carrier as a supplement.
Sorry this happened to you. As an insurance adjuster I would replace the bedside and repair the rear door and the cab corner. If the body shop does the repairs correctly you should have no issues down the road and if you do the shops always provide some type of warranty for the work good luck!
I actually don't think it's that bad coming from a Tundra. I go further while towing my almost 8k lb toy hauler with a smaller tank. I get about 265 miles between fill ups I used to get 215 miles in my Tundra with a 38 gallon fuel tank.
We have been in Moab the last couple of days and will be in Lake Powell starting tomorrow through the end of the week. First time in Moab leaving impressed by all the scenery
