    You are correct, they no longer have that page. No clue if they are going to put it back. You use to be able to put your own or any vin , or one you were building into it. It would give you towing and payload. As other people mentioned , it should be on drivers door, the yellow sticker.

    Is the dealer charging to updated UConnect or Nav Map? Normally it's $300 for the Map. They are supposed to give you files for free if you request them. Some dealers trick people into buying the "Map" update.

    With that weight you should have WDH no matter what truck you are towing with. You should describe the "terrible thing ever" I know a few people have had some issues when their tongue weight wasn't that high. Are there issues with it empty? Or when towing at certain speed or all the time ...

    Don't buy a brand. Buy what you can afford, can handle what you want to do with it, looks good to you. Can find fault with every car/truck, all have recalls.

    I thought same thing as your first post :) @Hangard Why are you doing anything with coolant? These aren't old trucks were you did it every 1-2 years or so. Unless your having issues. Should last at least 5 years, some claim 10 years. Wouldn't worry about the color either.

    Going to guess, you have one of the early ones. Mine was built very late. took over 8 months to get it. During that time, covid and chip storage and parts storage was happening. Likely didn't get new plate/switch and used old but with newer software. Mine has 4 switch, 4 modes.

    Both. But the options you mentioned are relatively easy. There are few video's around that show you exactly what to do. No clue about the E-fan, maybe @Wild one has played with that, I haven't. Be careful and always do backups before playing.

    Weight distribution hitch Setup correctly, it will improve towing by a lot. If you don't own the trailer already. Take all numbers and add them up. Weight of trailer might likely not issue, but 28 ft with that weight. I'd use the D250 instead and with WDH.

    You know the other funny part. The official standard for about 16 years now? They use 10% for conventional coupling,15% for fifth-wheel or gooseneck Having a standard is way better than what it use to be.

    You are correct Sir. Even tires matter. I was just referring to fact that one part of the test is dead stop and going up incline(and reversing). Big difference between different gears for max towing for exact same Truck and everything else equal.

    I'm not disagreeing with that. That's bad part of the SAEJ2807, it plays into 3.92 gears. Also have to remember not everyone is buying a truck to tow a TT.

    I can only guess , as I have no hard facts. the trucks with 3.92 were sold already. If you have two trucks exactly the same 3.92 and 3.21. difference of $200 or whatever it is, but says Max towing 11,240 and other 9,000 which one would you pick? SAEJ2807 isn't perfect but it is what we have...
