Why should I stay with RAM?

Sad to say Ram lately has been kinda stagnant in the heavy duty segment, especially the gasser. That being said the 8 speed transmission, coil suspension, and looks are pretty good. The u connect, air conditioning, all the mind numbing government nannies (that’s any new vehicle) are not so good...

    Locating towing specs.

If Ram wants to sell more Rams, then Rams Build and Price website tool should have the most up to date information available to a future buyer.Said future buyers can see how different builds affect the trucks capabilities looks and price.

    Locating towing specs.

Shouldn’t have to google it. Should be easy like Ford and Chevy.Rams Build it now is a glitchy option that seems to have lost RamBoxes and specs that would be useful for a build.

    Tires

One truck I run MasterCraft MXT and Cooper STT PRO on the other. Both are load range E, great in mud and snow especially when hogging out your own trail. Little noisy but not bad for in cab and for being mud terrains. Made in the USA by a USA company!

6.4 Hemi 2500 Towing Advice, Please...

Yeah 10K plus ? I ‘ve done that with a 6.4 2022 crew 4wd 4.10 8spd 35in mud tires and muffler delete. No problem. Not a toyhauler but a Farmall 300 all ballasted and other times a 1949 F6 dump truck all bumper pull.Actually before that pulled with 2009 5.7 2500 3.73 33 in mud tires too.

How much better is a 2500 for towing?

Yes much more solid.Had a 2019 Rebel now a 2022 2500 4x4 crew/ gasser and Rebel was too soft when towing 9000-10000 pounds.Have run 1/2 tons before with rear air bags but front end suspension, frame, brakes all make much heavier duty on the 2500 a better pull.

What do you lose when RAM connect on new truck expires?

for me I lose everything I never used or wanted.Like emails saying my tpms went on and bring it in only to have dealer say they can’t find anything or percentage of oil life. Not really a loss more like freedom from big brother crap.

What would you add to make your Ram ideal for you?

add a clutch and manual transmission and remove the following- horn beeping when truck door swings shut when its running, the automatic going to park when moving truck with door open, the glitchy electronics that say the fob isn't in the truck when it is, the message that says your four wheel...

Low range nannies are still on why?

Yes notification was displayed. I read somewhere that if wheel speed hits 40 mph esc and traction control comeback on. I have a video of how well it performs after pulling F11 just not sure how to post it.

Low range nannies are still on why?

Well last season it was just mud and truck worked fine. This snow was much deeper and you really need to keep speed up to get in and it was terrible. It was like it cut timing truck would just fall on its face and time to start winching. Low Range did the same.
