2014 RAM 5.7 system wide failure out of nowhere

I created a new post when this happened again, and the solution is there. Please consider this post locked. Link to new thread: https://www.ramforum.com/threads/system-wide-failures-on-my-2014-ram-1500-any-diagnostic-software-recommendations.193938/#post-2718691

System wide failures on my 2014 RAM 1500? Any diagnostic software recommendations?

My truck finally gave out while I was traveling way out of state for work and I had to tow it to the dealer. It turned out to be the TIPM causing the engine problems. I suspect that it was the non-removable fuel pump relay that has been going out. The TIPMs are so known for this that they have...

System wide failures on my 2014 RAM 1500? Any diagnostic software recommendations?

I am having system wide failures out of nowhere on my 2014 RAM 1500 5.7. This is causing the vehicle to stall and/or shutoff, or not start at all. The most particular part is that I can fix the issue and it will not happen again for months, then out of nowhere it happens again. I have replaced...

    Forum feature request

Whether or not you add the feature, thank you for your response. It just frustrates me to look through a post that is 150+ pages of replies at 10 replies per page. I feel that if we were able to set it to 25 or 50 or 75 or even 100 then we could use the "find" feature of the browser to search...

    Problems upgrading 16.13.13 firmware to 17.xx.xx in 2014 1500

Has anyone else had trouble upgrading their firmware from 16.13.13 to 17.11.07? I was following Mpgrimm2's guide for my year model and I've tried everything, including formatting to FAT32, using multiple USB drive brands, ect. I even tried 17.43.01 instead of 17.11.07. My truck is a 14 RAM 1500...

Have the developers of this website considered allowing 100 replies per page instead of just 10? I cannot express enough how annoying it is to have to click through only 10 replies at a time while trying to search information in a thread.

What would happen if I hooked up a 2020 8.4 Uconnect to 2014 truck?

I know that newer models may not be fully supported, but what would be the newest model that would be compatible?

What would happen if I hooked up a 2020 8.4 Uconnect to 2014 truck?

I have a 2014 BigHorn and I want to upgrade my 3G Uconnect for something newer. Has anyone ever tried this to connect a 2020 (68331635AK) Uconnect to a 2014 RAM?

2014 RAM 5.7 system wide failure out of nowhere

UPDATE: There was a lot of good advice and recommendations in this thread, so thank for that. I went out to my truck the day of this post and checked the connectors, paying particular attention to the ones under the TIPM and near the brake pedal. I disconnected the battery, unclipped them and...

2014 RAM 5.7 system wide failure out of nowhere

This all started out of nowhere. Any idea what would cause these system wide failures? The PCM, TCM, and ABS all have failures. This is causing the vehicle to stall and/or shutoff, or not start at all. I'm weary of taking it directly to the dealership because I don't want them to have to go...

    INFO - 2013-2018 8.4A /AN FW Notes (RA3/VP3-NA & RA4/VP4-NA & UAx)

I've tried several different brand of USB, 16Gb and formatted to FAT32. When I plug in to the USB in my center console it just tells me there is no playable media on the device. EDIT: Does anyone have RA3/VP3-NA v17.11 instead of v17.43? Maybe that would be worth a try.

    INFO - 2013-2018 8.4A /AN FW Notes (RA3/VP3-NA & RA4/VP4-NA & UAx)

I'm on v16.13.13 and I'm trying to eventually upgrade to v18.x, but I've been told by someone that I have to go from v16.x to v17.x and THEN to v18.x. Uconnect was no help at all - they don't offer previous firmware versions, and the lady told me that for having v16x I'd have to go through my...
