System wide failures on my 2014 RAM 1500? Any diagnostic software recommendations?
My truck finally gave out while I was traveling way out of state for work and I had to tow it to the dealer. It turned out to be the TIPM causing the engine problems. Whether or not you add the feature, thank you for your response. It just frustrates me to look through a post that is 150+ pages of replies at 10 replies per page. Problems upgrading 16.13.13 firmware to 17.xx.xx in 2014 1500
Has anyone else had trouble upgrading their firmware from 16.13.13 to 17.11.07? I was following Mpgrimm2's guide for my year model and I've tried everything, including formatting to FAT32, using multiple USB drive brands, ect. I even tried 17.43.01 instead of 17.11.07. This all started out of nowhere. Any idea what would cause these system wide failures? The PCM, TCM, and ABS all have failures. INFO - 2013-2018 8.4A /AN FW Notes (RA3/VP3-NA & RA4/VP4-NA & UAx)
I've tried several different brand of USB, 16Gb and formatted to FAT32. When I plug in to the USB in my center console it just tells me there is no playable media on the device. EDIT: Does anyone have RA3/VP3-NA v17.11 instead of v17.43? Maybe that would be worth a try.- pope3909
