What is this and why is it unplugged?
That's a ground connector, and should be plugged in. if its getting hot, make sure the stud is tightened all the way. if it is loose it could be getting hot from excess resistance from the loose connection.- thecurlyllama

No can find driveshaft grease nipple
I worked as a tech at a Chrysler dealership and we lubed them all the time during oil changes, they are definitely there on a 2500/3500, comes stock from the factory like that. If it doesn't have one it's probably been replaced with an aftermarket shaft or joint. like others said it's a little...- thecurlyllama
