Need help.. possible lifter/cam
I had a local shop with the right equipment diagnose the truck. They claimed bad lifters/cam. Got myself a used engine and had my cous do the swap (different shop). Same issue still. I have no problem if the issue lies somewhere else I just want to figure it out. If I can fix it at this point...- ChuckL333

Did a compression test on the old engine and it was good. Cylinders next to it identical. I can see a bad spark, but wouldn't a corroded ground cause a random cylinder misfire and not just p301? I'll look into that tomorrow possibly. Maybe you can help me understand in the meantime how it can correct itself. What I mean is, heavy throttle I get a misfire.
